Karin, I actually filmed that Setpower fridge video 6 months ago - I wanted to make sure the product would hold up well, and I can say that it seems to be as good as the day I got it. More soon...safe travels!

True - I actually filmed this video six months before I released it. My understanding is it IS now included with the purchase, but they ship it to the customer separately, so both packages may not arrive the same day.

How heavy is it? How long did it take to get to the temp u wanted? How much wattage was it pulling from ur ps?

Tina, the PT55 is about 44 pounds empty - much heavier when it's full of food. It'll go from 70ish to freezing temps in 30-60 minutes. I have not done exact tests, but I don't think it pulls much more power than the smaller fridge I used previously in that van. Once these 12v refrigerators reach the set temp, they're only cutting on/off every few minutes to maintain the temps, and it seems to be very well insulated.

Hi Kevin, quick question, what is an estimated watt usage per hour with the settings on freezer and fridge mode with summertime in the van type temps? Is it much more than just a single zone fridge only at say 35 - 40 degrees ? Im looking to upgrade my 30 quart to @ 40 quart and a freezer with fridge is my goal, but I don't want to tax my batteries to where I would be constantly monitoring them. I have 200 watts on the roof and 1200 wh between 3 solar generators. What do you think? thanks

Barb, that's a good question. It doesn't seem to draw that much more power (once it's cooled down to the chosen temps) when using one side as a freezer. I think with the setup you have it'll be fine. I'll try to get a followup vid out soon showing the exact power draw at different settings.
