Hey brewers, in this video, I try homebrewing an American Pale Ale without boiling or chilling the wort. If you want to try this at home, you must use a fermenter that can handle the heat. Don't pour boiling wort into a plastic bucket! Another option would be to put a lid on your brewing vessel and let it chill overnight before transferring it to your fermenter.
In the video, I mentioned that the beer was a bit more bitter than I would have liked. About 4-5 days after we shot this video, the beer dropped clear and the bitterness was gone. I think there were too many hop particles still in the beer when I packaged it.
