First year into my first real job one of the young grads who started 6 months before me I noticed started taking a fancy to me. She was an intelligent, funny and very attractive young women. It got awkward at the first Christmas party when she put a move on me and I politely declined because I was in a relationship. From then on things got awkward between us and she started to actively be hostile towards me. In an email chain with management on it she tried to make me look like a fool. So calmly and to the point I laid out the facts and pointed that it was her that was wrong. Because I was correct and now she had double egg on her face (1. Trying to make me look bad to management. 2. Now she looks bad to management) it sent her into a frenzy and she was screaming sexism and racism (because she was of Vietnamese decent) from the rafters. This blew my mind there was no reference or insinuation of her sex ethnicity in the emails. My manager was dumbfounded and her manager didn’t want anything to do with it. She took it to HR, I am not sure what happened, but it went quiet after that, nothing was ever directly mention to me from HR. But one of the HR team told me in confidence sometime later it was batshit crazy. That particular person left the company couple months later, have no idea if it was to do with incident or unrelated. Luckily to nothing like that has happened since. But to this day I can’t believe it happened. It would be easy to be jaded by this experience and to generalise that all women are like this and what’s happened to friendlyjordies is just another example. But in my experience there are cunts in all sexes, genders, ethnicities etc

I get why Isaac made the video but given Jordies generally is a campaigner for a political party I will not rush to support him in this fight. Labor has used similar attacks and tactics against others. There is no point defending the person when they campaign for a party that happily engages in the same tactic. At the end of the day the tactic is not going to disappear, ergo waste of time.
