I love that the men are forced to use magic when all 3 of them are more physically inclined especially with the combos and vice versa with the women. This is going to be another exciting challenge run! The switch remaster is honestly the best way to experience this game. I had such a great time sinking 200 plus hours on this in my first playthrough.

It would be fun if you did that with FF13 (you stay in one class and never Switch it, which is the opposite of how the game works, like Hope healer, vanille saboteur, fang attacker, etc... For the whole game)

Penelo is definately a gemini, uf anything a Gemini/Cancer cusp, her and Vaan's roles are to provide a comon persons view on the issues plaguing the world (a connection with the viewer), which is why she's on the sidelines with Vaan. Shes snide and playful with vaan but it comes from a place of love and not out of malice.

Balthier as a time battlemage will be interesting because it's kind of a lousy class. It equips crossbows and heavy armour, so there's little in the equipment pool to improve magic proficiency and therefore debuff proc chances. You normally need to either combine it with a martial job and focus on just the buffs, or combine it with a magic job so the debuffs won't entirely suck. It also hurts to say so because time mage is my favourite classic FF job :P

Looking forward to this! How far are you going to take it? I understand story content yes, but are you also going to attempt every hunt? The hunter's guild is probably my favorite side quest of the game.

so lemme get this straight, you guessed their signs and wanted to make a run with the characters using the classes that represent those signs but then, when u didn't want them going that route you just went with what you wanted . . . . >.> idk this feels less like a challenge/theme run and more of a "I'm doing what I want" run

I think the intention was to use the ones they picked regardless unless it made the challenge run harder. Besides, Zodiac signs aren't an exact science so the characters can still be interpreted as others.
