Hi Tony, Good results on the Dyno. DRob is the truth! Get those head studs and enjoy! I wanted to also mention that I was about to move away from my civic sport to finally upgrade to a fk8. I instead decided to keep it and pick up a formula blue rdx aspec for my wife. Really love the Acura design language and the RDX is a fun family car for us to cruise around in especially with a ktuner!

On my 370z recently got my ecutek tune with 93 octane being my highest. Should be close to crank at the wheels. Want to dyno it at some point. So should be hitting your torque figures as is but with a flatter curve thanks to VVEL.

Doubt you are hitting the same torque as the civic if you are NA. Definitely more HP though if you are tuned.

@John Barron Yeah fair I didn't realize that I was looking at his tune on low boost and not his max. But yeah I suspect should be around ~260 ft/lbs (+/-10) of torque at the wheels.

You don’t want the powerband of an L15B making 300 on a stock turbo anyway. You’re either going to throw a rod or spin the guts out of that turbo. Best to just get an upgraded turbo.

My 2020 civic si got 280whp and 331wtq FBO E30 stock turbo. Tuned by Drob, so it’s possible just depends on the tuner.

Also, Skunk2 has a manifold intake, it said that it can give you around 20hp-40hp. I have it in my car and I think is badass.

Bro please please please get a real tune on the dyno. I’m running straight 93oct that’s it and don’t even have a catless downpipe. All I’ve done is wheels, Bms intercooler, skunk3 3in catback, prl Sri some ngk plugs and amsoil trans fluid. I went from 182whp to 264whp and 320tq and still on stock clutch. Btw stock clutch is starting to slip up top so I do have to get a new clutch. My point being you can push way more up especially on a e30 blend bro. I’m only running 20psi. I’m willing to bet they are just upping boost and barely touching any timing at all. I refuse to believe they are pushing your car with their tune it’s so conservative it’s insane. Been telling you this for a bit now though lol at the end of the day it’s needless to say it’s your car and do what ever makes you happy brother. Just know you have a lot of headroom :) just keep down low torque lower and ramp up the power and it’ll hold 600whp no problem there’s quite a few si’s in Orlando doing it on the stock motor and haven’t grenade in years. Manage torque and keep hp tq below 400 on the stock trans and you will be good don’t even worry about the power your making it took 8k miles now on mine of thrashing it day in and day out to get my clutch to go. Crazy part is I’ve been taking stock and lightly modded type r’s to gapple bee’s lol I do recommend arp headstuds like you mentioned too

Keep in mind all dynos read different and sea level plays a factor as well. Also, You’re running 20psi and and you’re pushing 320wtq? Stock is 15psi. Not saying you’re lying but I find it hard to believe a 5psi difference gave you 120 more tq. Even so, I’ll get remote tuning eventually. It’s not on the top of my “to do” list

@@TdaKidwill have to see when you get a dyno tune by someone that isn’t nerfing your car to be so called safe. I am at sea level here in Florida for sure. Doesn’t change the fact that my tuner specializes in Hondas and has a 5star rating and a drag team with a civic running 7’s at the strip about to crack into the 6’s. It’s easy to think it’s highly unlikely when you haven’t seen something. Believe me there is a lot to be had when going from a ok tuner to a great tuner.
