What a beautiful and heartfelt reaction. Hello from America. Your English is flawless, by the way. I was born and raised in Berlin Germany and all of my family lives there to this day. I came to America in 1987. I only recently discovered Dimash after ignoring him in my KZfaq recommendations for over a year. I figured he was just the latest pop "sensation" and I generally do not listen to that genre of music. I am almost embarrassed to admit that I have since watched hours upon hours of reactions to his various performances. I mostly watch reactions from professional vocal coaches, many with backgrounds in Opera. I came across your channel, and like you, I am absolutely amazed by his incredible talent, ability, vocal range and dynamics, his delivery, as well as his stage presence. You have barely even begun to scratch the surface of his talent and vocal ability. I am looking forward to your next reaction. By the way, some Dimash fans are almost cultic to the point of fanaticism and they get outright defensive and combative over any perceived criticism of their "object of worship." I am simply an admirer of good music and talent, regardless of genre, and do not count myself among the Dimash fanatics, but I am utterly amazed by him. From what I gathered, Dimash is from a very musical family and started singing and piano lessons at the age of five when he was found to have perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical master’s class and has recently completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition; his thesis was titled: "Personal Image of Traditional Music". He graduated with Honours, achieving a perfect score of 100%. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. as he wants to teach music after his singing career. Dimash has diligently honed his craft and developed his God-given gift for more than 20 years now and it shows. I read somewhere that Dimash used to swim 3 hours every day to increase his lung capacity. It's not just raw natural talent but tremendous work, dedication, and discipline to achieve this level of performance. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a much-loved national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He was even offered a place with the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path and he has been very successful thus far. He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is getting pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn. Dimash also plays six instruments; the piano, dombra, guitar, xylophone, cello, and drums. During his live concerts, he usually performs for more than two hours and treats his audience to an eclectic mix of styles. His range is about 7 octaves now and spans across all five registers from a rich bass-baritone through to an extremely high soprano and whistle register, and he seems to effortlessly navigate them, often within a single breath. As you might already know, there are only 5 registers, from lowest to highest: vocal fry (pulse), chest voice, head voice, falsetto/flute, and whistle tone. Soprano is a vocal range and/or voice type - so Dimash can still sing the highest voice type, but he would be singing in that range using both his head voice and falsetto, and very occasionally whistle tone. He has even hit a D8 for 5 seconds with vibrato, the highest note ever performed during a live performance. It has been recognized that his high notes are usually not whistle, but head voice, Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does it’s spectacular. However, Dimash is dismissive and says it's not how big your range is but what you do with it.

Ей нельзя слушать Димаша в первоисточнике. Она может запросто поехать крышей. Она сверх-восприимчива. У ДИМАША есть вещи, которые Вера просто не перенесет. Димаша нужно слушать только с очень здоровой психикой. Кто меня понимает, тот знает, чем может закончится прослушивание. Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Best in 2019 but he retired. This caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones that competed with him frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, he would very likely have won. By the way the prize was of 1,000,000.00 dollars.

Er holt alle Emotionen aus den Songs raus und man geht selbst durch so vieles durch, nur durchs Zuhören ... Alle werden jetzt "Sinful Passion" als nächstes empfehlen. Ich denke, du hast jetzt Lust auf mehr Dimash bekommen. Sei darauf gefasst, dass er jedes Mal wieder komplett anders klingen kann, und dennoch immer Dimash sein wird. Er lässt sich in keine Schublade stecken (ausser vielleicht in die mit der Aufschrift "Einer wie keiner"). Auf eine Ballade kann ein klassisches Stück folgen, oder Pop, oder Rock, oder, etwas Ethnisches, oder Rap, oder ein reines Instrumentalstück oder ein Mix. Er mischt Stile, Sprachen und Gesangstechniken und er tut das unfassbar gekonnt und mit solch grosser Leidenschaft, dass er einen damit regelmässig vom Hocker haut. I succumbed to him in early 2019. The spell still lingers. I can't do without him anymore! I think you're craving for more Dimash now. Be prepared for him to sound completely different every time, yet always be Dimash. He can't be pigeonholed (except maybe the one labelled "one like no other"). A ballad can be followed by a classical piece, or pop, or rock, or, something ethnic, or rap, or a pure instrumental piece or a mix. He mingles styles, languages and singing techniques, and he does it with such incredible skill and passion that he regularly knocks you off your feet. He still surprises me too, even though I can now roughly estimate what he is capable of. I regularly get the full programme: tears, goose bumps, hot flushes, hysterical giggling, butterflies in my stomach ... He is also constantly developing, maturing and trying out new things, and yet he has remained so modest and down-to-earth. Well then: Enjoy the eargasmic roller coaster! Hallo, toll, jemand der deutsch spricht, wenn auch die Videos sonst wohl auf englisch geplant sind. Tja, was soll man zu Dimash sagen. Stimmlich ist er unbeschreiblich engelsgleich. Es steckt viel Talent aber auch sehr viel Arbeit hinter seiner Stimme. Immerhin besuchte er schon mit 5 seine erste Musikschule. Er ist als Sänger und Entertainer geboren, anders kann man es kaum ausdrücken. Dimash ist für mich einzigartig, aber nicht nur als Sänger, nein insgesamt. Er ist ein super bescheidener Mensch, hat sehr gute hohe Werte fürs Leben. Er hat eine wundervolle Familie und super tolle Freunde. Er ist auch noch Multiinstrumentalist. Seine neuesten Musikvideos beweisen mir, dass er auch große schauspielerische Fähigkeiten hat. Man kann ihn in keine feste Kategorie stecken, er mischt wild Musikrichtungen, aber das ist gerade das tolle daran. Seine Musik füttert meine Seele und seine ganze Art und sein Vorbild gibt mir Hoffnung. Sieh Dir ruhig mehr von Dimash an, wir Dears, so nennt Dimash seine Fans, genießen die Reise die neue Zuhörer von ihm antreten. Viele von uns erinnert es an die eigene Sprachlosigkeit. Brilliant, I love when a new Dear is born, and life is never the same after experiencing our DEARest Dimash. Dimash is very different. Every song he sings is different than any other song he has sung. If he sings the same song at a different concert he sings it differently!! Vera, you just scratched his singing surface!! He is a level or two above any singer you can think of!! Please react to his "UNFORGETTABLE DAY" GAKKU CONCERT!! You need to hear if you can his D 8 note, so high it's not on a piano. Sinful Passion. If you do OPERA 2 look for the word DAD in the title, his dad flew from Kazakhstan to Beijing to surprise him and it is "PRICELESS"!! SOS was a favorite of mine for many years; but four years ago I heard DIMASH do this song and I have been 'hooked" every since, He gives me no mercy, I must listen to his voice daily for my own wellbeing; other singers I once held in high regard are no match for him. Singers others recommend, I am not impressed with; DIMASH gives me no mercy, he's shy and unassuming off stage but a beast when performing. He holds his audience in his hands by the heartstrings.
