A drummer has to have so much control over every movement of his body, and keep intricate timing. To do that and sing at the same time is outrageous! I play guitar and sing at open mics, but that's different.

Another drummer that could rock the drum kit and sing is Don Brewer from Grand Funk Railroad fame. Check out the cut, We're An American Band, from GFR.

These guys were signed By Motown records to appeal to the white youth at the time. These guys did several good covers of the Motown hits.

The drummer is my cousin, Peter Rivera. He is rated as one of the best drummer/singer in rock and roll. No, he didn't use his head, just a funny angle. He has ALWAYS sung with his eyes closed. 1st successful white band on the motown label. They cut out the drum solo. It's a 13 minute song. No, it is not dubbed. Sam Guzman is on bongo. Gil Bridges on sax. Check out the solo sometime, it's amazing.

It's a live performance but the audio is dubbed with the actual studio recording as it fades out the ending.

@@bearballinno, it's not dubbed. He's my cousin and that was live. It's a 13 minute song on the album that was cut and edited for air play. They faded it out cause it kept going...

@@richbumdrop2881 I don't remember what happened to the poster that was inside. If I didn't have so much of my Vinyl collection stolen I can't imagine how many albums that I had. Somebody recently passed and I helped go through that person's stuff. I opened some cassette cases and when I looked at some cassettes I noticed my initials in them. At least they let me have them.😂
