Thanks guys. I'm a washed up bruiser myself and while I keep a good management on my knee pain squatting it does come back every now and again so I'll try your que of pointing the inside of my knee at my big toe and the tennis ball under the chin on overhead pressing is very interesting I will certainly give that a try tonight.

I have recently started the novice lp after hurting my back with old training. Thank you so much for this helpful and very informative video. I actually thought my life in the gym was over but after reading some of your books and watching videos I know have hope 🙏 I'm putting 5 kilos on the bar but going up each workout

Could you do pin squats to progress to squat depth if you have knee pain. For pain not caused by the gym happens outside of it looking to start LP.

Great video but I recommend putting it to 1.75x speed. Same information but doesn’t feel like a drag (especially when Ray talks) since it brings it down to 39 mins

I know what's wrong and the cause, torn medial meniscus(hoping its the part that has blood flow) from a crash at first base. I hope its heals and I grow some cartilage as well (which i seemed to have done last winter). I deloaded on the squat but am focused on my deadlift which has been behind since I started. Seems not to make it worse, I thinking its going to take 6-9 months hopefully Ill be ready for spring conditioning. 68 yeas old. After 6 weeks of letting it heal i decided screw it I dont want to get weak. BTW. I read the last chapter of PP before deciding

Question: I need a belt for my fatass. Not joking. My hip is 63" I just measured with a tape. I can't find one online. Been following the SSNLP program for a few months slowly. Is it okay to DL or Squat over 300 without a belt? I'm up to my bodyweight finally. 360 Squat 375dl. BW is 370. I started at 400lbs plus. The scale wouldn't go past that.
