i have a problem with the left trigger, when i checked only the right trigger has both resistor and capacitor the left trigger only has one resistor/capacitor labled C37, does the rhs still control the left? any help would be great thanks

Hello, both my triggers are always 100% pressed after disassembling and reassembling the controller to fix another issue. I want to make sure this is the issue I have as well, before attempting any fix. Can you maybe suggest a test that I can do first? I have a multimeter at my disposal.

My RB on my Xbox series S controller got stuck so I ordered a pair of parts that were stylish cause I thought to myself if I have to get a new RB why not change the whole button layout and get colorful ones that look cool so not only I got a new RB but I also replaced all the buttons on my series s controller to custom color ones so I put everything on the controller everything looks fine then I plug it up and it seems I have a new problem where the LT and RT are somehow being activated please help kinda like your problem but it only happened after me opening the controller I see no vids on how to fix this your the closest one to the problem I have

I have identified that my controller is also experiencing the same issue, On opening it up I observed that that the resistor R42(same as yours) was snapped. So what kind of wire should i use to join it back? Also is the trigger usable after applying your fix?

Hey man, I’ve got the same problem as you, I opened up the controller but didn’t quite understand what you were saying about the sensor and short circuiting the resistor with a small wire. How do I do this? Did you record it?

This happened to me but, my nail on the controller came out and mashed into the circuit. I didnt know it was doing that and it eventually broke the circuit so then when i opened it up i saw the nail was by the magnet and sensor and it destroyed the circuit
