I got a new controller, it seemed the sensors were putting off less voltage. Even after replacing it it was still doing the same thing. I think the board was broken

Have you ever dealt with a controller that the RT became loose over time? The best way I can explain it is my LT when you press it immediately reacts as it should but my RT you have to pull the Trigger down farther for your gun to shoot or register. As if the trigger is Loose? I have to pull the RT down further then the LT to get a response & it affects my game play sometimes I can’t shoot as fast or build & sometimes it doesn’t even register this is a fairly new controller never been takin apart. Thanks

I pulled so hard in the RT trigger and I was pulling left and I was pulling up at the same time and I heard a pop and I thought I Broke My Controller but no I looked at it was perfectly fine so thank you

I need help, I have an Xbox one S controller. And the trigger isnt sticking or anything, rather the right trigger is loose. Too loose that it is putting pressure onto the right bumper. The locking mechanism is broken? I have no clue. But I realized when I noticed that the right number was kind of sticking. I payed close attention and turns out it was the trigger that is causing that. I need help fixing it, I haven't seen anything online talking about this.

What if the plastic that wraps around the metal rod for the lever effect, is broken on one of the two connectors. Making the trigger hang down and scrape the side of the plastic outer case, as well as not giving perfect or direct input? Common problem for 3 of my old controllers😔

You have a source for the hall effects sensors? Mine has about had it. I replaced my sticks with elite series 2 ones and I think I got the hall effects sensor to hot by accident when trying to de-solder the old sticks. Some times I can use my trigger stops and sometimes I can't. The magnet is still in place. It is the left trigger. And the controller with Bluetooth if that makes a difference in the sensor itself.

I need to buy a replacement Hall effect sensor. A link to the correct one or some guidance would help me out tremendously.. this is an elite 2 but I’ll take whatever info I can get lol. Searching “304,” as printed on the sensor yields no results at all lol. Please help!

While left stick click down and left stick foward are pressed ( running forward in shooters) the rgt trigger activates. Any thoughts of why it's doing that?

I have an interesting one. I shake my controller and the right trigger activates shake it again then it works fine. Measured with a meter and voltage is good and magnet is in place. Any ideas?

Have you ever replaced a broken analog stick to no effect? I have a controller that had neither stick working, even after replacing both with brand new (aftermarket) sticks. Could this be some sort of motherboard issue on the second MB?

That is a really odd but interesting issue. First thing I would do is check to see if there is power and ground on both pots on both sticks. If there is then I would check to see if there is a signal from the wiper pins going where the need to go. Sticks that just don't work seems very odd but its not impossible. I am willing to bet the signals for the pots are not getting there/leaving. I had a bluetooth controller with a faulty stick and replacing it worked. Did you make sure you got the right value sticks? I would love to fix it for you if you pay shipping. If not I will answer any other question to help :)

Hi! Amazing video. My controller was fine, suddenly de right trigger activated the left and then both are showing like theyre activated but theyre not. It was weird because nothing happened that made them do that. It was of a sudden. Do u have any idea of what it could be? Thanks man.

I just opened my controller because the trigger wasn’t working right, the screw for the case came out somehow and was stuck to the magnet. Put it back where it belonged and now it’s good as new.

My left trigger likes to think I'm pressing it when I move my right stick up and to the right at all but if I smack the hell out it a few times it will stop than it will do it again like 5 minutes later. why might my controller be doing this? They're like 3 inches apart

Hey dude, my I had the same issue with my controller and when I opened it up I saw that there was a screw that was loose (don't know where it came from) that was in between my trigger and the board. I assumed that it was fucking with the holo sensor, but it still didn't work after I removed it. It looks the while trying to push the trigger the screw scraped the sensor, as it has a few small scratches on it. Would that be enough to wreck the sensor?

Anyone know why my elite triggers will go from 0 to 100% and nothing in between? The slightest motion causes them to hit max. otherwise it measures nothing. It's like it's a binary button or something.

Oddly... My son's controller that was fairly new started having trigger issues. I took it apart thinking it was gonna be a magnet. As I started disassembly, I noticed one of the screws was already removed. The screw was stuck to the magnet of the hall sensor. Now the trigger works fine!

The Rock Candy controllers have issues on PC on Win10.. I had to abandon mine, as the software stopped recognizing it.. sometimes.. Made no sense
