@@lyr8364 I always start off with positive. Express how much I love it. Then I say would you be willing to take --. Always offer lower than you want to spend because their counter will be higher, then I say would you be willing to meet in the middle. It works for me! I love to engage with the venders. Build a relationship.

I love watching you and your mom share time together shopping flea markets and thrift shops. Y'all just look so fun! I lost my dad when I was 13 and my mom when I was 23. Both from cancer. Never take your parents for granted. You are so blessed!🥰

Maybe you should get new. The yellow sink feels very modern, with the corner fixtures and it's shape. Also refinishing porcelain sinks (done correctly) require powder coat, baking, etc. You don't want to DIY something like that, especially when the quality of all of your other items are so nice. I really do love your shop alongs... especially with your mom. So much fun! :)

I had found beautiful vintage furniture in fb marketplace, garage sale, estate sale. The prices are much better and you can negotiate the prices better. Good luck.

I’m living out of America right now and last month when I went home to see my mom, we spent an entire weekend antique hunting. My best friend and I used to thrift/antique shop together. We aren't allowed to do that in our area due to Covid-19 so I was happy to watch this video as if we were there. I shared this video with her to give her a little glimpse of joy and future hunts together. So thank you for putting this video together. You seem to put it together "just right".

That "table" is a very loved and used butcher block, which is why it is so worn in the middle. It is a beautiful piece. I would use it in my kitchen - against the wall or in the middle as an island work space. It would be a shame to cut that gorgeous vintage butcher block top for a sink. Your mom is adorable! I would love to go shopping with her! ❤

So many great things. The dry sink, totally looks like the one my grandma had & I grew up washing my hands in the metal wash pan. That lamp was super cool. To many to remember them all, but oh so fun.

A boyfriend from years ago refinished his bathtub and made a baker's table with a porcelain finish paint. He called it "bathtub" paint. I think you could refinish your own sinks. You can do anything! 😊

That table you bought needs a spot in your kitchen or butlers pantry. Great to use as a cutting board. I visualize a block of cheese some grapes and a glass of wine! Many good uses
