I'm trying to practice some with velocidrone. Already followed the config for a low model laptop and now i'm running fine at 60fps. Have two questions, would you share what is the quad/config you're using in this demonstration, as it feels much more responsive/locked in that what i have? and second, in some of your videos you use a keyboard shortcut to freeze the quad (you usually say "lock it in place"), but i could not find this in the help/manual. Thanks for the effort of making those videos.

Locking the quad in place is undocumented as we tend to use it for tests and things but the W key is what does it. I run stock settings, I don't change anything from defaults for these videos and if I do I always say so at the start. I do run on a big gaming rig - which allows me to turn on things like high physics, fast control polling - a better machine and higher frame rates does allow the simulation code to run more physics iterations per second, which in turn makes it fly better.

Oliver Foggin yeah, not a nice way to use the sim by any means

VelociDrone yeah. The most annoying thing is that the sticks spring back to centre when released. So I have actively pull the left stick down to control the throttle. When I let go it goes berserk. 😂
