Some of the footpaths over the marshes are nearly knee deep. It will be a while before we can walk them.Thanks for watching.

I'm old enough to remember the big North Sea storm of 1953, which was regarded as truly exceptional. These days, major storms seem to be occurring much more often, so I guess we shall see more flooding like this. I hope the authorities will be paying attention to better sea defences, otherwise the future looks bleak.

You’re giving your age away there Jim. 😁 There’s talk of allowing nature to take its course, and the coast line will change over time. Bleak for the communities it will effect.
