@@carphotography ive changed config, but mesh levels looks like it has only 7*7 points. (seems settings not applied in config file, but there is definitely 9x9 in printer.cfg

yeah once the printer is all good the quality and speed are really good, you really dont need to change much in cura , just if you get some scraping on the prints watch my other video and that should fix it :D

I'm having the same problem. All my prints are great. But twice I have tried printing something that took up the whole bed and both times it would fail in the middle of the night. I'm thinking this would fix it. Was that the case with you?

Also did it make a difference for you calibrating with the bed heated or not??

@@ryandugan7933 the biggest difference for me was from the extra calibration points. I couldn’t see much of a difference from heated bed.

@@ryandugan7933 yes this is very similar to what I experienced. Printing small items worked fine as long as I avoided using a specific area of the bed. But larger prints would sometimes detach from the bed or the base as distorted. Initially I thought it was an adhesion issue so I tried glue, different temps, etc. But after video recording I realized it was a bed leveling issue.

@@googleaccount8578 you can use one of your older .cfg files select from the list you should have back ups, the ones with all the numbers before them, move it back to a date where you was happy with it or just reinstall printer.cfg from the FLSUN flash drive (Y)

Thank you, from what i understand it loads that bed mesh into the g-code and can better navigate the first layer, im not 100% sure but i know it has to be there for better prints :D thanks for watching.

yeah heated but there really aint much difference.

after calibrate set z to zero with the paper method and your good to go, if the first layer looks a bit flat raise it a hairr and if it aint sticking lower it a hair , Thanks

people have had different results, for me it didnt seem to make a lot of difference, but you can always warm the bed to a temperature you use a lot and calibrate it to that, but as you see on my printer it didnt make a lot of difference.

you have to write that line yourself.

i would recommend heating it to the temperature you most use, for me it is around 60 - 65, there wasnt a lot of difference in my test but it will most likely be that temp when you print so you might as well (Y)

I was having same issue, whenever i did Final z calibration, nozzle slammed into the bed and even though i raised it and did the calibration, when i tried to print, it scrapped the plate really hard that i had to immediately shut down so i had to go back and change the settings of line 188 back to 7 # 7*7 and redid the calibration and no issues except now i have a scrapped line on my heating pad.

Yeah I reset installed my printer.config and it’s been working. Thing is I also switched to prusaslicer. We’re you also using cura 5.0? Because Im half tempted to try this again since prusa has been working so well for me.

after you do probe_calibrate and it has saved turn off the machine and turn it back on and that will go away.

you can type it straight into the speeder pad, if you keep having problems go to FLsun page and under support they have the V400 printer.cfg

turn the machine off and turn back on again and it will fix the problem, a couple people mentioned having this problem.

check in your config make sure you put the right numbers in there same spacing everything.

the V400 might be a little more maintenance but i like it, this is my fist ever printer so i really cant say if it would be better than others, but it is fast and accurate once you get it dialed in.

@@mugaggakennedy i have had no problems with it, there is a facebook group where people do post their problems and i have seen a few, but i think if you keep it well maintained all should be good, i just like the look and speed of it, but i have nothing to compare it to (Y) look at some of my shorts and you will see i had some really nice results

@@carphotography not at all. The machine pauses it and pressing resume didnt do anything. I looked around and found a video saying a bad sd card could be doing it. And seeing as i had two different stls have this problem and a benchy . I tried a different usb thumbdrive and am currently trying to reprint one of them now. Before the stl im currently printing paused at the same place at an hour and 10 minutes in. And now its made it a good way past that point so perhaps if anyone has this problem try using a new sd card or usb stick. Will update if my print finishes this time. Hope.

@@carphotography so far i've successfully printed one of the files that was randomly pausing on its own. it seems using a fresh usb thumbdrive has solved this problem

weird, did you do the new update ? if not, now might be a good time maybe that will fix it. not sure i havent updated mine yet as it is still working fine, make sure to check your belt tension as shown in the maintenance video, that makes a big difference, then run the calibration , ping the belts make sure they all feel about the same tightness.

I did everything, belt, I disassembled and reassembled the printer, I switched to the updated 1.4, but it seems to be a software problem, because it prints low and high based on how the mesh reading detects. I copied your gcode for cure, but I can't. I also changed the printer.cfg file, but it doesn't want to start printing by reading the mash. @@carphotography

@@antooniodefrancesco when i first got mine i used it without that code after G28 and it worked fine. that just made it a little better, go on their FB page and someone there should be able to help

just click where it says "dirty or "invalid" and just reboot firmware and it will be fine if you have good internet.

@@carphotography ah i see. My wifi is shitty at best. Perhaps thats the culprit. When i was following your instructions the browser control kept losing connection to moonraker and commands wouldnt work. The inputs would show up in the commands like g28 but the machine wouldnt do anything and after a few moments the command would dissapear. Do you know if bad wifi connection could cause this?

@@blackthornejoshua2929 i have my printer in my barn outside and i had to add a wifi extender as it was giving me problems, but all those commands can be typed straight into the speeder pad.

@@carphotography also when i click on klipperscreen invalid from the speeder pad, it asks " do you want to recover klipper screen? Options are "recover hard , recover soft". I really am sorry to ask so much i just dont understand and fear destroying a machine in my ignorance.

yes you have to write it in yourself under G28, it will allow the G-code to use the Bed Mesh.

not sure but after a search i would double check all the cables are in and seated nicely and someone said "I had this issue, and was able to solve it by setting a larger horizontal_move_z setting under [delta_calibration]" someone also said using an older config worked.

you have to write it in yourself under line G28 as i showed in the video and then it will use the hight map you generated while doing the bed mesh.

i havent had the printer stop in the middle of prints, how long have you had the printer ? is the memory full ?

@@lafamille2839 was you stepper error "TMC 'stepper_b' reports error: DRV_STATUS: 401b0103 otpw=1(OvertempWarning!) ot=1(OvertempError!) t120=1 cs_actual=27 stealth=1" ? if so someone said Open the top of the printer and look at the fans inside. Make sure the fans are working. The fans cool the steppers if it is not working give it a little push to get it going.

@@carphotography I have already watched they work I see it running without disassembling there is shadow with the light I see it running, but it's weird sometimes it will work for 1 hour and sometimes 2 hours and stops I don't understand why,, ,😞
