Now, in 2017, it's bittersweet that they mentioned the brilliant Chris Cornell as a replacement. I know it was a joke but he and Dave were friends since the 90s. The Foos even went to his funeral. That man had the most unbelievable voice in rock and roll. 😓

Gosh, this seems just like yesterday to me. I can't believe it was eight years ago. I still remember all of the crazy break-up stories in the major music publications, on social media & news sites. It's crazy how a lie/misinformation/one lazy piece of 'journalism' exploded across the world into 'the foo fighters are breaking up!'. The bands response to all of that was suitably epic and utterly hilarious. Here we are eight years later and the Foo Fighters are better than ever with a big tour coming up. I'll be there for the Cardiff gig, it'll be my first Foo Fighters gig and I cannot wait! I was literally jumping around the house like a madman when I managed to get a ticket when they released extra tickets this past Friday. Tickets for the Cardiff gig have been like gold dust because it's the Foo's first Welsh concert and there are tons of fans in Wales.
