How To Make Trini Corn Pie | Foodie Nation

Arlene shows Natalie how she prepares her delicious Corn Pie without using the stove top.
You will need
2 cups Corn Meal
1 cup Whole Kernel Corn
2 cups Cream of Corn
1 ½ cups Evaporated Milk
2 cups + ½ cup Cheddar Cheese (separated)
1 cup Carrots (shredded)
2 tbsp Pimento (chopped finely)
1 tbsp Garlic (minced)
1 tsp Black Pepper
Salt to taste
How To
1. Grease a baking dish and set aside.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
3. In a large bowl, add all ingredients except ½ cup cheese and combine.
4. Pour into greased baking dish and sprinkle remaining cheese on the top.
5. Bake for 50 minutes.

I put in some melted butter and sweet peppers, the peppers carry it to another level 🤤, love corn pie with b-b-q chicken, nice job guys 😊

Great! Yes lady that's exactly how I make my corn pie and it is perfect everytime and everyone loves it so much so that a couple people from church tasted it and loved it! So at a small gathering yesterday with the same people I made corn pie by the other method of cooking first. All I can say is that it was an absolute disaster. It refused to firm up and the taste was off key. I was so embarrassed as they were looking forward to my corn pie. Today I had to dump it all. And I bought special cheeses! Your method is the best way. Simple, easy, no eggs and with carrots. So I was told to go back to my regular method. I am glad for this video. Thank u. I thought I doing it wrong by not cooking first. Yours is the best method
