Last week he went into one of our favorite trails and put a bullet through his brain. I have the acoustic version of this song on a playlist I compiled when my older brother died. I pulled up the same version when my younger brother passed away last month. I'm class of 2002. I'm 39 now and I recently watch the foo fighters playlist. It's so strange to have grown up hearing this band cut record after record, seeing Dave Grohl changing over time in these videos making me realize my generations youth has now completely dissolved into the past. Time can speed up or slow down ultimately eating everything we come to know, that's what these songs have made me realize after seeing the band members change over the years in these videos.

Glorious. I used to see Nirvana when I worked at the BBC years ago. They were so young, bless them. At the time, there wasn't much else out there anything near as good as their music, they certainly made an impression on me at the time, it was groundbreaking stuff.
