Music by J. S. Zamecnik This was my first student film, shot on a Bell & Howell model 134 8mm turret movie camera from the 30's. My professor gave each group two minutes of color film stock and sent us on our way. After experimenting with the three attached lenses, (sometimes more successfully than others) I brought back the footage to be processed. I was also fortunate to use an old Moviola to edit my film (The grease pen, the razor, the tape...the works). Even with some focus issues and lack of sound, I was pleased to actually experience the use of real film. He was kind enough to transfer it to DVD as well as give me the 8mm spool.
