You can do this alot easier. Put spindle nut all the way on . Put small 3 jaw puller on end of axle. Run bolt in . Mine came right off.

To be fair that outer spindle nut very commonly is loose upon tear down….we usually torque them closer to 200ft.Lbs

No they are not that hard to get off, that was how easy it is to take my spindle nuts off but I did make sure to torque the inside nut to 40 then back off a 1/4 turn to free the rotor and you put the center spacer then the outer which I left torqued to 40 so my spindle could spin the rotor center and free
