Is this a mk7 2.4 rwd iv got a mk7 2.4 rwd what symptoms did u have was it over heating ? Mine looses water slowly n has a tinny bit of steam cone from above the water pump so I think it's losing it from the waterpump gasket

Thank you. No problems with the tensioner, it is spring loaded and automatic. Regards, Jon

Thanks again for this it really helped. Also you're not wrong about the pliers! I paid £13 for my set and it still made it £15 easier! 😉

Is this a rwd 2.4 motor? would it be easyer to remove the front rad as well?

Yes 2.4 rwd. I managed just fine with the rad in place.
