This specific truck had 900,000+ miles with its original SCR box system.
The SCR conversion was low.
The driver said that a big amount of smoke was coming from the tailpipe. The SCR box was defective.
This SCR box replacement will be very similar to all DD13 DD15 DD16 OM 471 OM 472 OM 473 ENGINES Freightliner and Western Star truck.

One scr box replacement 10k Inframe with turbo and new injectors and egr for 07 Detriot 14l is 17k at dealer. I can’t believe people are dumb enough to buy these 08 and newer junk trucks. These trucks killed more businesses then any other expense in trucking history. 60% of truck dealer bays are def and regen issues.

2015 Freightliner with DD15 and I hate it. Countless emissions repairs. I just had the cylinder head replaced and it cost $15,000. 926,000 miles and I’m sure the SCR box is soon.

I didn’t watch this video. But last week I pulled the SCR out and replaced the dpf filters N0x sensor and replaced the def feed and return hoses. Also replaced the gasket for the def injector. So far I’ve put 2k miles on it without going to a dealership to clear codes. The check engine and mil lights turned off in less than a day of driving. Should I still take it to have it scanned?

Hi Francisco, i have a Freightliner Cascadia 2015. Recently i had my air compressor replaced, but a month later it started leaking under the compressor, not just small leak, it was pouring under it. when you stop the engine the leak slows down. what could be the problem? please help if you have any ideas what could that be. Fransisco, I had a question. I was changing temp sensors on my one box, and I noticed there is a little hole under the one box, facing the back of the truck. I turned the truck on and put my hand in front of the little hole and sure enough there is exhaust pressure coming out of it. The hole look's like s weep hole and look's like it's supposed to be there, but I wanted to ask you if that is normal for a small hole to be on the bottom of the one box? My truck is a 2015 cascadia with a DD15. Thank you in advance...

Antes de comprar un camion es bueno hacer una regeneration con la computadora y monitoriar Las lectura de los sensores para determinar si la caja esta bien. El metodo mas efetivo es no hacer mucho idle Al camion y reparar caulquier consumo de coolant si El camion lo presenta.

I have a question on the brake chamber for the cascadia.. from the chamber how long is the rod usually? I bought one that has the long rod and i have it stored for emergency incase mines goes but not sure how much lenght to cut it?

Usually the rod length is 4 inches but it is better to cut it when you measure it with the old one at the moment of REPLACEMENT.

Francisco Amaya my mechanic already changed the DPF Filters, Nox Sensors and Metering Unit. Now, to the fix the issues he’s asking to change the Box, he’s saying the cost would be around 10k. Use quality DEF Don't idle the engine for long periods of time Don't over force the engine Use low gears when you're taking off Etc,..

Regular maintenance Use good quality fuel Don't idle too long Use the engine for its intended purposes. Replace DPF filters don't bake them. Use a repair facility who is competent in working on these types of engines.

SCR is getting bad usually from overheating. Worn injectors and egr components make little more soot and DPF catch it. When time comes for regeneration to much soot is getting burned and DPF outlet temperature rising to 1400-1600F. That kills SCR . The process is called SCR poisoning... So want to have longer life of SCR change injectors every 600k miles and pay attention on EGR actuator. Also don't wait until ACM will do regen. Do parked manual regen by DL every 1.5-2 months

This codes means, steering wheel angle out of calibration. This could be caused by a bad steering angle sensor.

Hello brother Wanted to ask you a question on 10/11/18 my 2013 freightliner cascadia dd15 engine light turned on the check engine and my check light turned on with my def light I have full def ... So i checked the faults i have 2 faults it says1st code ( EEC 061 spn004364) (Nox conv eff 18) 2nd code (eec 061 spn003364 def quality 02) Please brother any answers will help by the way I love your videos brother thanks

You must do parked regen with the DDDL software to clear those faults. Sometimes, driving the truck at cruise speed for more that one hour can clear the faults as well.

The work being done by the element determines the size, precision, location and quality of a bolt. Engineering at its best. Just like the locations and sizes of the nails and screws used when one builds a box with hinges and locks.

devon deed that’s not true. U can remove all that garbage and make the truck breath and run much better.

Gcal1956. Trucks with AT&T systems are designed to run with them. If you delete them you run the risk of damaging your truck and will eventually get fined for it. Ya you will experience more power because the restrictions have been removed but I guarantee you that you will pay for it in the long run by either fines or having to replace the engine or both. If you want to run that risk go ahead but remember your truck is an investment and is a source of income why chance it.

devon deed is correct. These systems are engineered for specific pressures and temps. These systems are cleaner running than cars. Only a matter of time of either an engine giving out or Johnny Law slapping you w a feloney. Y'all are in the wrong business if it's "too way expensive", etc. Buy a Glider or just go work at McDonalds.
