Nice truck and skid....makes it easier also when maneuvering around job sites as well.....keep up the good work.

Nice setup. I got the same Kubota and those three attachments the other day lol love it so far but I almost shit myself making the transition on my goosenecks dovetail so I can’t imagine this one cause it looks steep! Of course I just bought my skid and you’ve got WAYYY more experience than me. They say if you load forwards that raising the bucket offsets the weight nice, but I think I’ll always just back on and keep it low.

Just a suggestion but you should weld some cleats on the dovetail. If it gets wet whatsoever you are at its mercy. We have a local company here with about 10 similar trucks for skid steers and mini exs. Seems very efficient rig and I know it’s a lot easier to find a place to park over the gooseneck.

I have some pieces of angle to do that! Someone suggested bolting some rubber down, or bolting rubber cleats. I also thought about expanded metal turned to where it’s the grippy side going up. Idk what would be better. Yes I have just used it once this week and I love not dragging that 27’ trailer around! And I can just park it when I’m done and it’s ready for the next one. No more unloading at the end of every day..

Cameron Ward I have seen both angle iron and expanded metal used. I am not sure it the expanded metal would wear the tracks any or not. I would love to have that in some of these new subdivisions they are building you can barely find a place to park a truck and trailer much less unload. I don’t own a skid steer anymore so I have just had the rental companies delivery so I don’t have to deal with it.

I carry both machines side by side on my 16 ft flatdeck hooklift,no problem.

I have watched your videos, and I have a lot of interest in a set up like this. How much does the bare bones truck weigh? And what’s the max payload you can put on I’ve been trying to do my research really haven’t gotten a solid answer. Thank you!

Was a VERY busy summer and I didn’t take much time to film, and the GoPro keeps acting up and deleting footage so I’ve been annoyed with it too !! Hopefully I’ll get a couple vids up soon!

Was there a constraint to making the dove tail longer and shallower of an angle when you fabricated it?

Didn’t want to scab on another piece and jeopardize the strength and didn’t want to spend the money for some new frame rail pieces.
