Very beautiful Sonny. In Hong Kong where I come from, French toast is super popular in the neighbourhood diners. Ours tend to be deep fried and dressed with golden syrup rather than maple. I'll have to try it wine strawberry jam next time!

Definitely next level. I never thought of cooking strawberries at all. I can't wait to try this recipe. 25 years of living in logging camps in south east Alaska, I would alternate days eating a 6 egg cheese omelet, with lots of salt and pepper and Tabasco, with 7 bacon strips a orange juice, lots of coffee every day. Next day it was four French toast with berries, fake syrup, sometimes with peanutbutter, and two huge glasses of ice cold milk. We loggers consumed an average of 10,000 calories per day, give or take 2000. Rigging lean and mean. Nice moves with the nunchuckles.
@stewarttaylor2419

You didn’t consume 10000 per day on average. You might think you did, but you didn’t.
@davidbuben3262
@davidbuben3262 2 жыл бұрын
@@stewarttaylor2419 You say so. However I was very good at counting calories. Like counting elk or cattle. Put them in groups of 10 or 20, and count with those numbers. Don't know why it's hard to believe as logging is one of the most physically demanding jobs on the planet. During hell week the SEALS consume about 15,000 per day.

The honey butter with the vanilla bean looked really good! I'll have to give that a try next time I make French toast. It might seem a little played out, but what about using a maple infused whipped cream in replacement of the honey butter? I think it would pair really well with those strawberries and some of that glaze! It would definitely cut down on some of that richness. I really enjoy the content! Keep it up man 😁👍
