i prefer the cream backs too. Although I only ever played Green backs or Cream backs in my Quad Cortex. My amps all have V30 or GT12-75

Another wonderful video... Thanks Henning. Oh can you tell me if the Friedman 15X25 pedal board can fit the Boss ES-8 with 2 risers or do I have to use the 15X30 and can the Friedman power supply power the Boss ES-8? If it can how do you match the 400 mA the ES-8 is asking for when the Friedman power supply has 350 mA. I appreciate your input... HAPPY THANKSGIVING if you do that in Germany.

The 1525 only comes with one riser and won’t fit 2 and an es8. I had that board and an es8 and had to dual lock a true tone cs12 to the underneath instead. Hope that helps.

Braxal yeah I did fairly recently. I had gotten rid of a few pedals and it was just too big. Was a great board tho. The only thing I would say is that the bag is quite bulky. I now have a much smaller board from custom pedal boards (uk company which you may have heard That pedal show talk about) which has a hinged tier.

Great Video Henning! I just bought the golden pearl and for some weird reason its not stacking, at all, with other pedals. Im running the pearl first and it is doing its thing and when I engage another pedal nothing happens, everything stays the same... that is definitely not right but there isnt any info out there yet since this pedal is new if it doesnt stack with pedals, which makes no sense, or if maybe its defective... Im not sure. I do really like what the pedal does on its own but damn, it should stack with other pedals just fine with it being a low gain pedal?!?!

I run a 40-watt amp and I would like to get a Green back for it as an upgrade- but they're 25 watts. I realize if I don't run the amp at a high volume for long periods of time, that probably wouldn't matter but- "probably" is the problem see- I don't like risking it. Plus, if I ever decide to go jam with friends or play in a band again- I may run it much louder, much more often. So- it's either the Type "A" or the Cream Back 75- and imo the Type "A" has a tendency to get muddy when you turn on the dirt. So- the CB 75 looks like it. That heavy magnet is going to make my amp, which is already really heavy- even heavier though. Not looking forward to that- but it's going to sound great, I think.

K Smith it’s a low overdrive nothing close to a fizzy distortion pedal. Did u bother to watch at all? It pushes already driven amps. SAF.

Well I thought it was fizzy. At 25.00 he says "it fizzles your amp" so theres some fizzle. Which is fine if thats what you like. It might be your sound but personally I wouldn't take the pedal for free.

TheCrystalyne how can that be? His amps at full gain and his high gain be od pedal aren’t even noisy. On the other hand I won’t mention the brand but another company has a great radio station coming out of its high input. Dave’s amps are quiet. Plus, I’m using high output Suhr Doug Aldrich pups. Maybe it’s your set up or wiring in ur home.

Playing more of his FREE music toys, how can anyone be objective when he knows if he gives anyone a bad review they will either ask for their product back or god forbid, manufactures might stop sending free gear. The schtick isn't funny anymore, I'm out.

But you see through the advertising (it's blatantly obvious here - Dave is *in* the video), so it's not a subtle manipulation of any kind - we all know what we're looking at, right? And you get to hear the gear and decide if it's something you like, and there's value in that, right? At the very least, you get to have an outragegasm, and who doesn't love an outragegasm? ;)

Why in the world would you call it FREE gear? I work for it... I provide a service. I work 12 hours a day. Calling it free is very insulting and clearly shows that you have zero respect for what we do for the consumer.

In my earlier post I think I covered what it is that you do, you give everyone who gives you free gear great reviews, period. No gear no review, great con if you can get it I guess, less than 5K views per review, how much is that worth to a manufacturer? For the price of a piece of their gear I guess they feel there is a value in it, if NAMM and shows like it did the smart thing and shut you guys out of their shows and adhered to their own rules that only people "IN THE BUSINESS" get in then this kind of worthless BS would go away. There is no service to the industry that you provide because your opinions are bought and paid for and there fore can never be objective or have any value to the end user, your only telling the end user of these products what the manufacturers wants the end user to hear. If your only giving positive reviews of every product then your just hustling the manufacturers for gear, as I said nice con job if you can get it. Good luck buddy.
