After driving through morning rushhour traffic in Cairo we made our way to the October 6th airport. Everything seemed good to go until the airport officials refused to give us the fuel we needed. After making a new plan, we raced the setting sun to make it to Aswan before dark.
This is episode 5 of the Long way South Series; a 6 week journey flying the new Sling High Wing aircraft from The Netherlands to South-Africa.
