While most people are aware of the conflict known as the First Tiberium War between the Brotherhood of Nod and Global Defense Initiative; there was a different kind of conflict taking place on a remote island involving prehistoric animals thought to be long extinct.

I can't get over the cutscene of Kane sitting so casually in a hanger in front of an SR-71. Knowing Joseph, he probably just got into studio one day, set up the camera, props, and green screen before filming that himself.

@@michaelandreipalon359 One idea I've had floating around in my head for decades is a TV-show set in the TibVerse, in the years leading up to Tiberium crashing on Earth. The Brotherhood likely knew this would happen before the fact and would've begun their infiltrations and takeovers in earnest, the show would be a spy/conspiracy thriller in the vein of the X-Files.

Hearing the way he explained the missions of the dinosaur side missions it makes me want to hear him do all of (cannon) missions for each war. (eg. the whole of tib war 1,2,3). Still great work on something so small.

I've never even seen these before and I've been playing C&C since they came out. How do you access these missions?

@@Aettaro In the original game, they are started with the command line option "funpark". In the unofficial C&C95 v1.06 patch, they're just put in the New Missions menu along with the expansion missions. In the remaster, you have to click the bolts on the main menu to unlock them.

@@Aettaro Unfortunately, in the remaster, you can only play them from the Nod perspective. In the original game they're started through the "New game" function, meaning you van choose GDI or Nod tech for construction options/ helis, and my 1.06 patch has them listed two times in the missions list for that purpose, but they didn't implement any system for that in the remaster.

I believe this is the island where Kane keeps his underground base with the healing tanks. Its undisclosed due to the fact that he only returns after suffering from an Ion Cannon strike, being impaled, etc. Since Nod is in shambles at this time, his travel to the island is not documented.

It is not only the presence of dinosaurs that surprises me. Another mystery are the saguaro cacti. Dispite the saguaro being widely thought of as an iconic desert plant, they exclusively live in the Sonoran Desert located within the Mexican state of Sonora and the U.S. state of Arizona.

The funny thing is, I can't tell if this is an April's Fools joke, or a legit description of the easily overlooked Funpark content. Despite the more serious tone of early C&C, these hidden bonus missions fit perfectly into the zeitgeist of the era the respective games are set in.

So, in red alert the ants missions has a task force that, after the war, has a army composition closer to the GDI arsenal than of the allies, creating the theory it all happens after the war and they would eventually become the GDI. Here, Kane has an army that uses both NOD and GDI weapons, which always made me believe that this happens in a timeline where NOD won, which would make sense why the commander is sent on a mission like this instead of fighting GDI or why Kane is still alive.

0:56: Seriously, Nod has some influence when they can even receive a Blackbird. Heck, even the Renegade FPS shows off framed photos of Red Alert 2 Harriers flying above a Nod flag (sure, it's recycled from Carville's funeral in RA2's Allied campaign, but still)... I swear, RA2: Yuri's Revenge and even Generals+Zero Hour should be interquels for RA1 and Tiberian Dawn. 2:16: Some experienced commanders can beg to differ. For a bunch of secret missions, they sure have cutscenes. Not many games even then could have done that. 3:44: A strange parallel to some secret Allied taskforce that used Soviet tech against Giant Ants. Won't be surprised if said taskforce ended up becoming United Nations Operations Group Echo: Black Ops 9. 4:07: Nasty buggers, even in the Jurassic Park novels and films. Seriously, the Commandoes should have curbstomped them with their fast paced anti-infantry capabilities. 4:47: Just like the Costa Rican military in the Jurassic Park novel's endgame, air support beats Velociraptor. 6:28: Even I don't believe raptors can curb Humvees. Then again, the machinegunner post is exposed... Nice strategy in the open there. 10:53: A surprise to be sure, suddenly playing as the dinosaurs in a chronological storytelling manner as Generals. Neat (and scary in lore reasons) how this joke stuff is actually canon and foreshadows the whimsical Multiversal/chrono warfare side of the C&C franchise as a whole.

공룡 미션은 본편과는 별 상관없는 미션으로 이 미션을 하려면 커맨드 앤 컨커 확장팩 비밀 작전이 필요하며 명령어를 funpark를 치면 숨겨진 미션인 공룡 미션을 플레이를 할수 있다.플레이를 하면 케인이 등장해서 이상한 동물이 감지되어 정찰하라고 끝나면서 어느 외딴 섬에서 공기부양정이 지나가면서 본편이 시작이 됩니다.근데 수색하다보면 난데없이 트리케라톱스 와 티라노사우루스 그리고 스테고사우루스가 나오는데 이건 그냥 영락없는 쥬라기 공원 패러디인듯하다. 근데 마지막 미션에서 재밌게도 공룡을 조작할수 있는 스테이지가 존재하며 이 스테이지 메인 주인공이 NOD인것을 다들 눈치챘지만 유난히 마지막 미션에서는 공룡으로 나오는것이 좀 묘하다. 여기서 더 웃긴건 공룡 섬에서 사람들이 살고 있는걸 알수 있는데 공룡들이 득실거리는 곳에서 사람이 살고 있는게 이것도 뭔가 이상하다.아니 이상하지도 않는다...NOD가 모든 공룡들을 멸종 시키고 요새화 시키지만 이 공격에서 살아남은 공룡들이 NOD에 대한 공격을 실시하는데 뭐 이건 공룡들이 살아남으려면 저 침략자들을 몰아낼수밖에... 더 웃긴건 GDI는 이 섬에 대한 정보를 아예 가지고 있지 않는듯하다.왜냐하면 NOD와 교전중인데 이런 섬에 관심이 있을리가 있나... 그러나 공룡들이 NOD를 몰아냈음에도 불구하고 여전히 멸종 위기에 처한것은 다름아닌 타이베리움 때문이였다.이 섬 역시 타이베리움에 확산하기 시작되면서 공룡 멸종은 이미 기정 사실화 되었다.
