Jamaison, those are lovely and I never realized that French Vanilla was reactive with itself, but it makes sense. My fave was the brownish one with the wisps of pink and the last one you showed, the pink one, or maybe it had some lavender in it. ALL of them were wonderful and that is a LOT of pendants and super cute earrings! I FINALLY had a chance today to use my 8" slant cabber today and my gawd do I love that thing! I bought it in November and live in a condo so my only "out doors" is on my balcony. It has been a long, cold, freezing winter here in Reno but Spring has sprung so I finally got some good cold working done. Great video, great pieces ❣

How fun! So I’ve never used Super Spray or similar on pieces I’ve cut to fire polish, but as I cut mine up I toss them into a container of vinegar water, until I get done cutting all. It seems to help.

My bails previously failed because of glue. I now use nothing but Gorilla glue! Is there any way to seperate 2 glued pieces? Your videos inspire me!!!

I used the super spray on steel jade with interesting results. To some extent it prevented the steel reaction. I ended with brush strokes in the steel color.

I always wear my glasses. You do not need gloves for a glass saw… it cannot cut you.

What kind of kiln shelf was that to start?

The shelf I’m building on? That was just a standard 24x24 shelf, I think it was sold by Bullseye. If you mean the one I had cut up, I think it was probably the same… some composite likely cordierite and mullite? It was an extra that came with my used kiln, and it had some gouges in it so I decided to retire it into different service. 😉

I had the same experience when I used Spray A~all the opal glass was very cloudy after a full fire, so basically worse than devit.....I thought I may have used too much, but now after seeing this am not sure.

I recently purchased the slant cab grinder and love it. I was able to install the brush I bought at North Shore (per your recommendation) without even using silicone. It snapped right into a slot already on the grinder. My question is are you using the grinding disc that came with it? You mentioned in the video you thought you were using 360 and that does come with the purchase. Just confirming that I am using the best one for jobs similar to what you show in the video. Thank you for sharing!!!

Is everything you use from various companies COE 90? If not, what COE do you purchase and why?

I use all Bullseye glass. Technically, bullseye doesn’t say it’s COE 90 but that’s the common assumption.

Since you bought your slant caber they have changed the design. The adjustable water pipe is now in a different position which makes fixing the brush on the side.

I have been looking at the slant cab trying to make a decision but based on the ability to modify~I reached out to Hi-Tech and they said the design has been the same since 2018 and has not changed recently, so no worries, Jamison's creative 'hack' still works!!

It really depends on the work that went into it, the glass used, how unique the piece is, what your local market will bear, etc. Most of my pendants are anywhere from $20-40
