is there a chance to get an L shaped cable for the bottom? it really bothers me how the cable twists on the base, it seems like a design flaw, they should have made the stance 3 cm higher to avoid putting that strain on the cable don't you think? any ideas? thanks!

Also, I'm trying to use this with Jamulus software and am facing an issue with the bitrate. It always says that the input device has 0 bitrate. I see that's not the case in the Audio MIDI setup, but still the message keeps coming. Am using a Macbook.

In this video, it shows the volume knob adjusting the overall volume but all it does is adjust the headphone monitor volume for me

I bought this mic, and it sounds good but, it would always make an annoying noise as my computer works harder like while playing games or using heavy applications, I’ve bought another cable and the noise is still there, any of you guys know why is it and how to solve? I use Windows 10.

Consistently when I talk into it whether it be through OBS or Audacity, I get soundwaves but no sound. I can hear everything else except for the mic despite the visible soundwaves being picked up.

Please help! Whenever I pluge earbuds or a headset into the headphone jack and turn the Monitor button on, I hear nothing at all when speaking into the mic. I have the Monitor volume maxed and still nothing. The mic itself works just fine. Why isn't the Monitor function working?

It took me awhile, but I like this mic a lot. However, when I downloaded the latest version of Audacity on my new computer, the mic starts clipping if I record a track directly under the first one. I tried turning the input volume down, but still no good. I went to the Quality tab under Preferences (in Audacity), changed the drop-down to 24 bit, but still the same problem, clipping. What can I do Mr. Samson Technologies guy?

@@patycamacho4605 I may finally have the answer: make sure your sound preferences are the same in both Audacity and your computer...16 bit and 44100.

I put it in 16bits and 44100 but cant record without the red light star flashing, i just put a track and want to record my voice at the dame time with te music but cant What can other thing may could be? Or what can I do :(

@@patycamacho4605 hmmm...check this to make sure: go to Control Panel>Sound>click the Playback tab>Speakers>click Properties button below>click Advanced Tab> on Default Format click drop down list and choose 16bit, 44100...

There is no adapter for a normal microphone stand in the box anymore! And I can't find a shop where to buy it.

man, the mic is right next to my mouth and on max gain on the wheel it still sounds like I'm talking quietly. And for some reason it disables the windows gain level?

So it can't be used with any audio interface? I wish I knew that a year ago when I bought it. Now I'm planning to start a podcast with multiple guests and found out that I can't use my g track pro as one of the microphones in the studio. That's sad:(

@@geminity5194 I use the Samson Gtrack pro with my scarlet 2i2, but From what I have researched -- Windows 10 supports two, look on your Sound Control Panel. (Mac can support a bunch with Audio Midi Setup). I think Im going to make a video on how to do this, I see this Q everywhere.

@ 2:26 - 2 Track still has it as Mono. Puts the sound to the Left.. mutes the right .. and puts them into 2 tracks ..

When you plug in your headphones to monitor, can you also hear the sound coming in from the mic input, like a guitar or and audio input from a different sound source?

Yes. There is a monitor on and off switch at the back of the mic.

Why does the G-Track Pro USB Microphone show up as an output device on my mac? I don't think there is an inbuilt speaker in it.

That's assuming you're using headphones. Since it has an option to plug headphones directly into the mic. I'm using a Windows PC, so I can tell you what I did. Just go into your output settings and make sure the output (i.e. speakers, headset, etc) you want is selected. Mine defaulted to the mic as soon as I plugged it in. Was an easy fix as long as you know what to look for.

@@asifjaved7672 I haven't had too many issues. My biggest problem is switching applications (I use mine for OBS and Discord). Sometimes I need to unplug it or check the settings to make sure it's using the correct input.

I have the problem, that i cant monitor my voice and also use it as an input signal to teamspeak or discord. it simply wont work :( In windows sounds there is no input signal coming

Update: So I got a different one, and that still didn't register when I plugged it in. So I just exchanged it for a blue yeti, which works amazingly for both my livestreaming, and music recording.

It is a condensor microphone, which are much more sensitive to smaller sounds in the vicinity Consider getting a directional/dynamic mic instead

Try to check other USB port, in my case when connected directly to USB 3.0 port it was flashing, but when connected to USB 3.0 port extender (like normal longer cable with two USB 3.0 ports output) it's all green

ALSO make sure that playback bitrate is the same as recording bitrate (Sound properties > Playback/Recording device > Properties > Advanced > Default format) - both should have the same setting, otherwise flashing red led or playback slow motion (its sounds funny) could be an issue.

Mine did it for a different reason. I'm using mine with OBS, and it was flashing red until I switched my input in OBS to the mic, instead of my old mic. I'm sure by now you have your answer, but maybe this could help someone else ::shrugs::

Late answer, I know :) When the video displayed to set the microphone to default, right click it, go into properties > advanced And set the quality to a 48000 Hz option

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE SAMSON, can't you guys give this wonderful mic, its own Asio driver, so that one does not need to use Asio4all. It is a pro mic with an audio interface. It really deserve its own Asio driver. Asio4all is not stable at all. Been wishing for this since October 2018.

@@husky_biscuits9924 Just an update, I think their quality control is just lacking a lot. Lot's of lemons out there. I returned it and they replaced it with another and this one started working right away... I do like this microphone once I got one that worked.

Aila Official it should. Mine is still working great a year later. Really good sound quality. Just be prepared if it does not detect it when you plug it in, return it for another one..
