It does. No matter how powerful your hardware is, the PC version of a game will always, 100% of the times run worse than the console version. What do I mean by that: let's say this console has specs equivalent to a Ryzen 3700 + Radeon 6700 non XT and 16GB of TOTAL memory (between ram and VRAM). Now, take a PC with the same specs and run any game with the same console settings, will it run better or worse? 100% of the times it will run worse. P.S. have you heard about that VR developer that said that the same code runs 10% faster on a PS5 compared to a fuzzin 3090ti?

The PC version runs better than the console version 99% of times, with the occasional outlier being due to developer incompetence of lazyness. Console versions can barely reach 60 fps, let alone maintain 60 fps these days, while even low end PCs can achieve stable 60 fps. For comparison, spiderman remastered and gow 2018 run at 60 fps on PC, meanwhile they can't run at 60 fps on peasant station 4. It's almost like a good port will always run better than the console port. And meanwhile even a bad PC port most of the time runs better than the console port. Let's keep in mind that a PC port can't maintain stable 60 fps is considered a bad PC port, while the console port is considered good if it can run a game above 30 fps, which would be utterly unacceptable as a standard on PC. The implication here is: PC has bad ports and console doesn't, therefore console is better than PC. This argument is especially stupid because it is a combination of cherry picking and lying. Even then, most of those bad ports are bad by PC standards, not console standards and thus ran better than the console versions. Infact, in most cases, the console version ran even worse. It's beyond idiotic to suggest that most PC ports are bad( which aren't even the majority of PC games released). @@5izzy557 I think it's just GameRanx like Joe mentioned in this video trying to sound profoundly smart because Falcon has a cool voice but failing at doing any proper research. I don't really blame them for not knowing cause DXVK is something I found out only months ago and yet it's been a thing for couple of years. It doesn't work 100 percent for every game but I always use it for older titles that aren't optimized and I've had good results but still... They are "journalists" I guess or famous content creators, they should've done their research but didn't. I'm kinda glad cause we wouldn't have seen Joe roasting their argument so easily lol.

The steam deck has nothing in common with the console, it is a portable PC. It doesn't have anything to do with a console.
