This man Gennaro is a miracle. Not only does he have an infectious passion for cooking which I find as charming as it is inspiring but he's able to remember all these recipes without any help or notes. My hero with the strength to beat the mixture with his bare hands.

I've never understood why this man has never achieved the status and recognition that his fellow Italians (Locatelli, Carluccio, D'Acampo et al) have. Not only is he the loveliest of men with a fascinating family history, he brought us Jamie Oliver for Goodness' sake! Your newest cookbook is on my Christmas list. You are wonderful, my grandma made a cake like this, but she used Granny Smith apples. She had a Granny Smith apple tree. Please more videos of you.
