The salmon onigiri tooks really good. I remember learning what onigiri means.. plainly put, rice balls. looks yummy. If i was better at cooking rice I would give it a try. Awesome vid as always Vern

If you guys are planning to make this Onigiri, (this recipe inspired me to try making onigiri myself) the best brand that's great that's widespread is Nishiki branded rice you can find at your Asian/ethnic foods aisle at your local Kroger brand store or any other grocery store. Still practicing at forming the balls while they're hot AF. The cool water not only helps with keeping that rice from sticking to your fingers, but also cools your hands after handling that hot rice. 🔥🔥🔥 Also yay that Sakura, my waifu is getting more love.

The onigiri look delicious! Like always, good Video with even better cooking Tips! I'm so sag sometimes that i have a G6PD-Deficiency (the short cut is the german version, don't know the english version) that Basically gives me favism when i eat beans... (Red bloodcells becoming unable to Transport oxygen). The Red bean paste is in many japanese recipes and i can't eat them... But hey, at least i can hear others describing how it tastes. When live gives you lemons!

Thanks for another fun video. I'm so used to basic onigiri (rice and salt). Any of those would be tasty. I also nuke cold rice to make onigiri. 🤣 The number of faces you make at the end could be enough for wallpaper or one of those repeated designs on merch 😄 Do you have a books wishlist? If people really wanted you to try out a cookbook, perhaps they can buy it off Amazon for you?

Man I made these onigiri back when the book first came out. I hated that red bean and seaweed one, I tried to pawn them off to my roommate who's a human trash compactor and even he couldn't stand them.
