Well Joen your cinematography took a big jump with this one especially the scenes with the music from the guy playing the steel drums when you did your psychadelic motion montage. I would say you got quite artistic and took it to a whole new level. Maybe you should consider doing some film making, perhaps a small independent film with some local Lisbon actors. The key is finding or creating a good script. Perhaps you can look into your own story for some inspirational material ;)

I love all your videos and now I have another family member hooked on them. They called my laughing so loud, I thought they were crying. They are like you have to drop everything and watch. Seriously I haven't laughed that hard in such a long time. You need a travel show where you two go to a spot your parents go also but you do the city apart so you don't lose your minds but then one meet up each episode. It would be a mega hit. I love Porto. I visit twice a year, my sister lives there. You should go on a boat trip up river Douro and also visit Mercado do Bolhão (not sure if it's still closed). Nice to have you back. Missed you. Joen, your parents are so cool. Nice to see them again.

Hi guys . After I criticized your video quality a few months ago, for some reason the picture quality has improved quite a bit. I like your video Technik skills. I really enjoy Joen's parents. Yay, i missed your vlogs...! 💙 It occured to me today that a lot of times your vlogs remind me a bit of 'underground' art movies...like back in the 1980's i used to go see art movies at specific theaters in Philadelphia...You guys would be great at making those kind of movies for Canne's film festival, etc... Also i am amazed at how you can get drunk and produce such awesome and creative stuff...When i used to drink, i would just black-out all the time and not remember anything...So, i'm amazed when anyone can drink and be highly functional... i love your eccentric personalities...such a welcome and refreshing change from Americans who often can be aggressive...and boring... 💜🔆😂👍

Wow, that is a huge compliment. Thanks, Aria! We like to experiment with different formats, styles, music, b-roll etc. It's what makes the vlog a creative space where everything can be tested and explored. I think that KZfaq is the best place to do this as no one is telling us what to do, but we wouldn't be mad if we ever won a Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival, hehe. Regarding drinking and filming it sometimes has a positive impact on our filming as we become more creative and "less boring" in the sense that we dare more. The filming probably takes a tiny beating in holding the camera, but on the other hand we might not have come up with the prank call if sober. .D Thanks again for your motivational comment! :)

Thanks for your kind words, Artur! Porto has a lot to offer and it seems very different from Lisbon. One of the reasons Porto never was a serious contender in terms of where to move was actually the weather as we know it is much less exotic than Lisbon. ☺

More European? Of all, lisboa is exotic, a touch of north Africa, Mediterranean, nothing European in architecture, nor in time, ... As the light being less European, it has this feeling of more light since most of its buildings are built in calcareous, white stone, that with the light of the sun to affect the sensation of more light that, for me, becomes too much since blind, does not allow you to walk with eyes wide open The light of the POrto is filtered , which gives it an incomparable romanticism and charm. As for grandea, Lisbon with 500 thousand inhabitants and Porto with 300 thousand is thus a difference, from Prto to New York? Manis of greatness ... Anyway

And it is enough, just and alone, to look and see the buildings of the Allied Avenue, the whole square, and see what is European. That square breathes and exudes European arquiettura. And it is not for less since the Port had great influence of English and Italian in some of its constructions. Not European? And then the Port maintains its essence almost intact since the constructed remained unchanged unlike Lisbon that great part of its center was reconstructed in the section XVIII after the earthquake of 1755

Joaquim Silva Aveiro é mais parecido com o Porto mas tem os lindos canais e as salinas também a praia da barra é linda com o farol da barra não muito longe.

I'm from Porto and honestly I prefer Porto to Lisbon. Nowadays Porto is really a very romantic city, full of nice retaurants, bars, tourist. No wonder for the 3rd consecutive year Porto is the best destination for a weekend away. Overall welcome to my city and hope you enjoyed it.
