In this video I do a trade recap using my new indicator which includes ETF to Futures levels conversions, Smart Money Concepts and Higher Time Frame levels with Volume Profile sprinkled on top. Great video yet again! Thanks for taking time to do this. Two quick questions. 1. Have you started trading in 1 min now with this new convert indicator? 2. What's the indicator at the bottom of the screen? Looks like cumulative tick or ADD?

Yes I’ve been using the 1m with this new indicator but don’t necessarily broadcast that because I still think 3m is best for most, as I grow as a trader I’ve been working to train my brain to see the 1m, since the lower time frame helps for playing break and retests. But finding the discipline to wait for candle completion I found is extremely important on the 1m, unlike 3m and 5m. That indicator is a sector awareness indicator called weighted A/D. It takes all the S&P sectors and plots them in a cumulative way, showing both weighted and unweighted. I don’t get a ton of value out of it, but it is nice to see all the sectors at a glance and see divergences of weighted vs non weighted sectors. Can you share your settings for volume profile and the best times to change the opening strike price in the indicator. I know at the end of a trading day you should have the close for the next day but what are the best intraday times to update it? Or is that just largely dependent on the price action of that day? I'm planning to sub to tradytics so they can provide the best GEX levels anyway but wanted to ask. Also wanna say glad I found your channel it'll be great to say I've been here since 2k subs when you get to 25k, 50k 100k subs etc., breaking subscriber gamma levels lol. You deserve it this is great.

Of course I see and better pay attention now to the label "opening strike price" signaling that you may want to input that at market open lol, especially with a gap up/down I would assume. Still would like your thoughts on how often one might want to change it if they don't have tradytics GEX levels though, thanks in advance.

Sure, I typically just set it to the closest $5 increment at the open, so if SPY opens at 397.20 for instance, I'll set it at 395. Or if QQQ is at 283.70, I'll set it to 285. There's no right or wrong strike really, since it will auto plot above or below. I appreciate the kind words!

You don't need Tradytics GEX levels (or any other source) it just gives you additional insight into the strength of them if you have them. Whether or not you have the additional insight, it still requires reading the price action and volume to determine how the market will respond to the level. Just know the main ones fall on $1 increments and the stronger ones typically fall on the $5 and $10 increments (395, 390, 385, 380, etc.).

Hi, thank you for a great video and sharing your indicator. I downloaded your indicator, but the gamma lever are not in sync, I mean instead of being in the center of the chart with the prices they are stacked all the way at the bottom, I was trying to back test this weekend and understand them better. SPX is at 4105 and gamma level are all under 3791 Am I doing something wrong? and also a Huge Congratulation on you new journey, with your little bundle of joy...

Hi and sorry for the delayed response, I took some time off and am finally getting back into things. The problem you're experiencing is with the default values. The indicator does require that you open the inputs and specify the gamma levels you want to see on the chart, which requires tools like Vol.land, Tradytics, SpotGamma etc. to know what the notable levels are. At the time I wrote the indicator, we were around that 3700 area so those were the base values, but they can be changed as needed to match the current market data.

My ETF levels are resting at the bottom of my chart & out of sight of current price. What do I need to do to have the ETF/Gamma levels coincide with current price? Am I supposed to manually enter a value for Opening Strike Price? If so, opening strike price from what specific time?

Yes that’s correct, the opening strike price. Right now SPY is at 397 so I have mine set to 395, but it’s really up to you where you want the starting point to be. I have QQQ 285 for my NQ side as of now and DIA 335 for YM as well as of now

I'm only playing futures. I have your indicator. Under what heading can I find gamma levels? In the event your indicator becomes unavailable, what provider offers the best gamma levels for the S&P, Nasdaq and US30?

So this indicator is made to show the strikes for SPY for ES/MES, QQQ for NQ/MNQ, IWM for RTY/M2K and DIA for YM/MYM. If you want deeper insights into how much gamma & vanna is at a particular ETF strike, you have to use something like Tradytics or Volland to get more insight, however I've found even without that additional insight, they typically cause some sort of response.

Can you give us clarity on what to enter for opening strike price. Ex. If SPY closes at 397.5, do you select 397 or 398 as opening strike. Does it matter?

Stick with the whole numbers since that's what gamma levels always fall on due to the way options chains are structured. Sometimes, they fall on 397.50 for instance, but those typically don't carry much GEX or VEX. I usually do my starting point point at the closest $5 increment, such as 385, 390, 395, 400 etc.

White line gex ? Level? Where is get Gamma level indicator?

Yes white line is the converted SPY strikes. So I call them gamma levels because they are converted from SPY ETF strikes which is where all the gamma levels fall. If you want to be really thorough, you need a tool like Tradytics or Volland to see how much GEX & VEX exists at that strike actually (for instance 385 was significant that day, especially with Vanna) but the reality is you don’t necessarily need this data because the chart reflected perfectly what was going on, however having the additional insight can be beneficial. But because of all the options bought on these strikes, every level will have some amount of market maker participation.
