At the end of this video (approx 30 min in) I show how to set up volume profile. From there you should be able to specify that you want to turn on POC. If it doesn’t have that option keep in mind the POC is just the area where the most amount of volume was conducted for the day so you should be able to spot it yourself. @Fatty Trades Thank you Sir. I did find it in TOS. I was searching for point of control or POC. I did find it under Volume Profile. Have you ever tried using Ninja trader to automate trade plans like this? I would like to play around with that but know nothing about Ninja. More learning ! The big ones for me are Anna Coulling who wrote Volume Price Analysis which was adapted from Wycoff back when they would read ticker tapes and then ICT (Inner Circle Trader) who pioneered smart money concepts years ago. My style is a mash up of these two. When trading equities I learned about the importance of dealer positioning from SpotGamma but found they didn’t quite have it right as my understanding grew thanks to resources like Squeeze metrics & listening to guys like Cem Karson. Volland is far superior & come to find out is the only platform I tried that displays the data accurately. Also, I first used unusual whales for flow data & trade ideas but found Tradytics to have superior UI & data driven insights. Over time those two evolved to be my favorite tools along with elite trader fund (changed from TopStep) for funded futures due to their one step eval’s & funding rules. Just curious, what discord did you hear about it in?

In overnight futures since SPY, QQQ & SPX are typically closed, I still keep an eye on levels based on key levels from day prior but don’t rely on them nearly as much. I mostly rely on volume price analysis and smart money concepts, so really it all comes down to what the chart showing. So the 12/9 POC was interesting. I realized this after the fact, but tradingview and my futures broker had different POC’s. The tradingview POC (11652.75) never came into play and was invalidated at market open. So the setup never happened. However, take a look at the high volume node cluster around 11609. This was the POC shown in tradovate volume profile which has a great degree of accuracy due to tick data. It doesn’t happen often but this does happen occasionally. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice this when I made my video or else I would’ve called that out. When we approached the 11609 POC it was around 6:35 AM. We had a nice rejection off of it that would’ve led to a very straight forward 10-15 point win. We rejected it two times after that before market open that led to even more points. I did catch 21 points off the 3rd rejection at approximately 8:45AM when I logged in for the day. I could’ve gotten way more out of it if I had held into the open. I’m going to make a short video about this phenomenon soon as an amendment to this video which will help support additional setups.

You will have to pull up historical contracts if they are still available from your broker. So if you are on NQH3 now, NQZ2 should let you go back a bit further. Don’t use NQ1 though, it won’t accurately reflect true volume and price.

Looking at the NQH3 contract (the recent contracts we rolled to for March with highest volume) Tradovate & Tradingview have them at the same spot for me - 11902. When you look at tradingview, are you looking at NQZ2022, NQH2022 or NQ1?

Yes make sure you watch the real contracts, NQ1 is some special thing tradingview does where they try to combine all the individual contracts & volume into one which doesn’t accurately reflect the currently traded contract in a lot of situations. In Tradovate (or whomever your futures broker is) if you are using NQH3 it’ll show as NQH2023 in TV when you connect them.

Yeah I wanted to show an easy method however I personally use prior day order blocks & price action from day prior. Really just a matter of going with what you’re comfortable with. The VWAP bands make it more accessible to most.

Thanks. That VWAP bands does seem like a simple recipe, but good to know about using prior day key points to be more alert on exit. Now, I have to use that Futures permissions I turned on to make these bucks…!!!
