@@HowToCookThat im allergic to strawberries i get cheast pain or its so itchy its like i had stood in one plce for 10 hours or been bitten all over it hurt but its easy to cope with i mean my body dosent react to pain much cause my past was super violent you like a mother to me but a kinder one my mums gone dad with us hes an amazing father hope you see this and please dont tell anyone that see this post i dont want to be bullied for another year it would make 10 years

I have a skin contact allergy to all mammal fur, including my OWN hair. I either have to wear my hair long enough to pull up off of my face and neck, or short enough not to reach it (it's short at the moment). But I'm also loosing my hair so maybe it won't be a problem much longer. Bet you never expected to hear a woman say they wouldn't mind loosing their hair.

Wow!! What is the compound that creates the reaction? That's crazy!! Maybe you can rock the shaved head look and forgo the entire issue lol. Does it react to your eyebrow and arm hair and such too or just your long hair?

Lorraine Vanilla actually, the hair on my body is just as sparse as the hair on my head. I don't even have to shave my legs, there's nothing there to shave. As for exactly what is causing it, I have SO many other allergies and health issues that are more immediate that I've only mentioned this one to the doctor in passing. I'm already being treated for 23 other chronic conditions like diabetes, COPD, heart disease etc.

I lost all my hair to stress in my 20’s. I have a lot of long thick hair so it was a big loss. I got shots to help cure the hair loss, but it just made me itchy everywhere whenever anything rubbed my skin. I would get huge red welts toweling off after a shower. Once I had a bug walk on my face and I brushed it off and it left a big red welt where it had been walking. It took about 2 years to get over the painful welts every time I was touched. Now I just live with no hair - including no body hair.

I have Food and Excerise Induced Anaphylaxis too! It started 2 years ago and my food trigger is tomato.

Yes I do carry an epipen...i do forget a lot of the time though so I've cut tomato out of my diet to help. Luckily I have not had to use the epipen yet!

Incredible! I have a similar allergy story! I was 14 years old at a school dance and broke out in hives. My friends got me into the locker room shower and doused me with cold water because that was the only thing that felt better while someone called my parents. That night I took over-the-counter benadryl and was fine. Maybe a year later, i had lunch with friends at the mall then played a round of Dance Dance Revolution. The hives came...but then i started swelling and couldn't breathe. My parents couldn't be reached, just my older brother, and he didn't know what to do so he took me home. I passed out and couldn't get out of the car. My parents finally got home (they were at a funeral) soon after and an ambulance was called. It's been ten or so years since then and i've never had to go back to the hospital, but there have been times when i've broken out in hives, then have refused to eat certain food for years because simply a walk through the parking lot at work was enough "exercise" to bring it on. I've never seen a doctor, my mom just did a google search and we "self-diagnosed," but I'm hoping to figure it out in the future for my own peace of mind (it doesn't help my anxiety issue...i've held back while on vacation, not eating as much delicious food as i should be, because i'm so worried something might make me break out and ruin everything). I'm glad you eventually saw a good doctor and figured out your trigger. Sorry for the long read! It just hit so close to home...over ten years and I've NEVER heard of anyone who has this crazy thing like I do. Especially not having seen a doctor, having a low income and living somewhere where there just aren't any specialists...I'm glad to know there's hope somewhere and I'm glad to know I'm not crazy.

I know Im late but, I feel sorry for you. I cant compare myself to what you experienced with your parents being busy at a funeral but, i will tell you anyways. I was unwrapping one of those «metal ground torches» with red on The inside and The metal edges are Sharp as hell. So I cut my finger, I ran to The bathroom, and hold pressure on it. I didnt want to use toilet paper because that could be unsanitary so I screamed for my dad, he said yes yes Im coming. He didnt come, i screamed IM BLEEDING. He said that he was on The online bank and that if he left now he would have to do it over again. When he FINALLY came we went to The kitchen, i got a glass of water while putting out my anger to him saying, OMG DAD I WAS BLEEDING AND YOU CHOSE THE BANK OVE- I passed out of anger and he catched me like one of THOSE romantic men in The movies. Well, I cant imagine how it must be for you, I Wish you all The best.

I think it would be interesting if you did a challenge like on the show Sweet Genius! Like, you have to make a desert that's frozen/baked/chocolate (chocolate/candy/cake) and it has to tie into an inspiration. You've got two weird ingredients you have to somehow incorporate and only 40-60 minutes to make your desert! I think it'd be neat to see your skills put to the test that way.

All my life I got sunburns super easily. My dad and stepmom thought it was because I was so pale and not used to the sun (I did prefer to spend my time inside) but it never got better, instead it got worse. I had 2nd degree burns on my scalp at one point and got a sunburn through my jeans. That's when they got me to a doctor who confirmed I have a sun allergy. It didn't took many doctors but my parents didn't even knew that was a thing, they thought I was just being whiny

I love your videos. They are so awesome...the only allergy i have is to the sun. My skin breaks out into tiny painful blisters and i swell up. It took ages to be diagnosed with that and its hard in summer but thankfully i live in the UK so sun is rare XD Thanks for another amazing video. i brought your husbands book for my nephew for his birthday and he loves it.

Elron K I’ve missed the normal-sized ones since I realised that I shouldn’t eat any lactose at all if I want to avoid upsetting my digestive system. There aren’t a lot of options for lactose-free ice cream either, and the few that do exist aren’t necessarily in stock at every grocery shop.

My partner can't eat caffeine, cinnamon, peanuts, plus a few other things we've yet to identify. Not having caffeine means cocoa is also forbidden. I have to get creative in adapting some recipes.

Isabel WG White chocolate is fine. Compound chocolate still contains cocoa, which is the source of caffeine. Carob tastes pretty foul.

Yum! That looks great and so easy to make! What a great idea for a crowd during summer! So interesting about your allergy. I am glad that they figured it out. I have exercise induced asthma, but did not know that there is also a food component that could make you anaphylaxic! Thanks for the education.

Most doctors had not heard of it either, that is why it took so long to be diagnosed. It wasn't until I saw the immunologist about the solar urticaria that he asked do you have any other allergies - and I said yes just a weird one that if I eat peanuts and exercise my throat swells up and I can't breathe... he instantly wrote me script for an epi pen, told me what it was and said to never exercise alone as there could be other triggers that I just haven't had in combination with exercise yet. That and that solar urticaria was incurable - wasn't the best appointment.

FitAngie at the water park I would go to every time I asked for a cocho taco they said they didn’t have any but they had snickers ice creams bars I got those everything and they’re so good
