In Sweden we have different bed sizes then the US. Since Ikea is Swedish thats probably why the mattress size differ

Hi Angela! I'm a US Ikea coworker and I work in the bedrooms department. Ikea's mattresses and bed frames are standard US sizing. So you can purchase a non-Ikea mattress and put in on an Ikea bed frame, vice versa. My family has several Ikea bed frames all with non-Ikea mattresses and they fit perfect! I'll say with the extendable bed you kind of have to purchase the Ikea mattress just for the extendable feature, but once you get to the twin stage you can always get a twin mattress from elsewhere. I love your videos!

Sea Salt is my absolute favorite color. We've used it in two houses now. And yes to Elmer's glue. We loved peeling it off of our hands as kids.

We’ve painted our master bath SW Sea Salt in our last THREE homes! It’s my favorite!!! It looks wonderful in your girls’ room! I’m happy to know about the trim color too, because I need to redo our trim and cabinets in our bathroom.

You pick the most wonderful paint colors! I painted my whole house white bc I just needed to bring brightness to the house. Turns out the white I picked has the wrong undertones for our wood finishings. It is amazing how it takes such an artistic eye to pick the correct colors!

I paint furniture and certain woods have bleed through. The only primer that will seal it permanently it BIN shellac based primer, if it ends up bleeding through again try that. I learned that from all of my kitchen cabinet and furniture painting groups. A little tip though it not like regular paint ant drys really fast so a small foam roller is easiest but if you use a brush work quickly and don’t go over a spot to many times because it starts to get tacky. It does dry very smooth though

I feel you on the peeling of the window mask...I painted trim today and got a lot of satisfaction peeling off my painter's tape afterward...lol....something about those crisp lines. 😂 The room looks fabulous. I already loved the blue sea salt...now I love the cream colored one as well. May be time for a refresh in MY room... Great job!

You should check out "Beddy's"- bedding that's simple to make and wash, it looks easy for children to make beds, especially bunk beds. I myself just found them.

You mentioned that the matress from IKEA was pretty thin. You might have bought a mattress that is supposed to lay on top of a spring bottom/spring mattress. I have bought all of my beds from IKEA over the years (I'm Swedish), and I always buy a spring bottom plus a mattress on go to on top of it. This is what they do in stores as well. Excited to see the bedroom reveal when it's all done.

I just paint around glass as I please and go back with a razor blade to get the paint on the glass off. Works great.

Hi Angie. This is the first EVER of your videos that I have watched. I was intrigued with the whole story of your family. I have now been binging your playlists and catching up with the stories of your family. I love your commitment to going where Jesus leads you and you tire me out just watching you solve problems and work with your DIY. I'm twice your age, but I love hearing about your adventures with your family and your farm It took me a while to figure out who "Sierra" was, until I worked out you were saying CR!! 😂 🤣 (It must have been the accent... I'm Australian). I just recently bought your book and I'm waiting patiently for it to arrive. I've only been watching your videos for four days, but I'm definitely a fan and the people who put you down aren't worth listening to. I think they're most probably jealous of you and the love you and your family share. I agree with you... if they don't like your content... why watch?? There's plenty of other content they could listen to. Keep up the good work.

@Dr. Christopher Johnson I live in Australia, about an hour and a half north of Sydney. I have been to San Francisco a couple of times now. It is a beautiful city. It is Spring here just now, but in Australia the leaves stay on the trees all year round so you don't see much difference in the seasons. I loved driving through the redwood forest in California and seeing the beautiful trees. Such spectacular scenery. I am enjoying these videos and watch a couple most days.

Knot sealant is what you need for the wood - sap will come through where there are knots, whoever painted the wood in the first place obviously omitted this essential step!

Love your white overalls. Where did you buy them? Also love the sw sea salt color. You painted all those walls without painter tape good job!

She also didn't put any dropcloth on the floor. Such a brave woman! I'd have covered the entire floor, furniture, etc and used rolls of painter's tape before attempting to paint. Then knowing my limits, I'd just give up and hire someone to do it! LOL

If those spots show through again, use shellac. Then paint again. There is a spray on and a roll or brush on kind. They’ll stay gone 👍🏻

I love the video, but I need to let you know I had to blame you for a recent Amazon delivery. The box of my latest addiction, thanks to you, was the Indiana popcorn not packed in an Amazon box. I told my husband, my friend Angela Braniff, sent me a box of “fairy farts” aka black and white drizzled popcorn 🍿 😊😂. Lorie 😁

My cats are fascinated by paint rollers. They will watch you paint and you have to fight with them to not sit in the pan, lol.

I’m worried the end table you painted is going to bleed the wood tannins like the window trim did. I refinish furniture and have known this to be a problem, particularly with pine. Love the color you chose though😊
