i own this watch and the submariner and can easily say GS is ahead of the rolex in all specs... hand craftmanship, polishing, accuracy, complications and eye candy...

Man these scratch so easy! The clasp is nice but it’s the same one on a marinemaster 300 just finished a little better. If GS stepped up the bracelete and clasp then there would be no competition!

Spring Drive has a rotor winding and gears to deliver the power, but the regulator is quartz instead of mechanical. So its hybrid.
