such an awesome watch and a great review based on your experience of owning and regularly wearing one. it's hard to beat that. i have the 029 shogun (a great watch in its own right) and the sbga229. whilst the s/s version is obviously heavier, it still wears superbly and is a beautiful sight to behold on wrist. a must have in either variant if you're a true seiko dive watch aficionado and value high end finishing and accuracy. i hope your're still enjoying this watch :)

Hi Craig, I have this watch and absolutely love it. The only downside is the clasp, I barely touch it and the extension activates. Even when Im getting the watch off sometimes the extension activates. Does this happen to you to? I would like some feedback from another owner. Great review by the way.

Hi, just one question. I know that the bezel is not ceramic and I have read that it is more prone to scratching. Do you know what the bezel is made out of and does your bezel have any scratches? Thanks.

I’m going to an AD soon Craig. Even though my wrist is 6 3/4” I’m going to try the titanium GS Diver. I’ve been wearing a Seiko turtle to get used to wearing a larger watch. Any advise for me with the AD...I usually get a 20% discount on most anything I buy since we’ve done so much business over the years. Have you heard good GS diver customers getting bigger discounts? Is the the SBGA231G the model to get. I am like you with hand setting and don’t want a slow watch. I don’t mind if it gains a little, but nothing slow. Is there anyway to tell? Or should I put a deposit on one and let the dealer keep it a week and then go back to check on it...and what do you think is an acceptable gain in a week? Thanks, Rich P. S. Just saw this at the local GS dealer here in Dallas. Excellent watch if you're on a budget, but finish quality still looks like something out of a department store.

Roll another video comparing one of your Rolexes and the GS diver. I agree with your view on the GS being next level over the Sub but give the side by side to close this case. Get/borrow a Rolex and do it!!
