Greg fishes all around the location from his kayak, a tiny island, and the nearby shores and FINALLY ends his fishing skunk streak and catches a MASSIVE Coho Salmon! Amós goes grouse hunting inland with his Bushcraft Bow and Arrows and also has success! The two enjoy an EPIC feast by the fire and share the stories from earlier that day.

Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

To be honest I just sat back and smoked about a half a joint. Sitting here watching this it definitely is the best episode yet. Especially after they caught the fish and the grouse.. that evening when Greg likes the fire and just relaxed for a second. I almost felt like I was there and that's where I want to be I think we all need a break every person on the planet should get that experience of what it feels like to rely on nature and feel the pride and accomplishment of getting it done by something as simple as lighting a fire at night just like kicking your shoes off when you get home and sitting down

Greg's underwater shots were cool. I could spend a lot of video time just checking out that clear water. For folks in a survival difficulty, they scarcely can spend the brain power to notice the beauty around them, yet without doing so one misses opportunity, like seeing the fish jumping as a sign of good fishing or noticing the chicken of the woods on the underside of a hanging log. Am so happy for both of these talented men when their success comes together! Am following both versions. Yet hunger will make desperation so freaking hard to overcome. Desperation makes one try too hard. It's like the universe says no at those moments! At times, the frustration is demoralizing. It is with one's own inner strength that this is conquered.
