Thanks for the great advice! I love the idea of being aware of when your triggers are coming and be prepared with ways to manage them and not let them manage you.

I love the "parenting from my ego" reference. As kind people it is so important to us that our children grow up to be kind as well. I can completely understand. Your little ones are so lucky to have you, I really appreciate you making this. I think it will help so many in coping with the stress and pressures of motherhood. Keep up the good work mama!

I can agree on soooo many levels and relate. They really just want your time and love , it's what it all boils down to. And it's okay to let them cry.

Right! They just want attention (aka love) I used to have such a hard time of my oldest's hard emotions/crying but have totally changed my perspective on them now. Children are so much better at feeling their emotions , than some adults lol

Oh my goodness, the triggers! You basically mentioned everything I noticed to be my triggers - the night time and the getting out of the door! I guess one more big one for me would be when my older boy hurts the little one. I am way better at handling myself but still have moments of frustration. Such great advice overall though!!!

oh yes when my kids hit each other, I can go from 0-110 lol Learning to respond rather than to react out of impatience so quickly,

Motherhood definitely tests our patience! I think God is able to grow us in patience as we calm down and not take to heart a lot of the things our kids do that are just childish.
