Yellowjackets season 2 is more than halfway over. This season we have been learning more about Taissa and her condition. Tai and her alter the other Tai (mirror Tai / night Tai, lady in the tree etc) are on a mission both in the past and present. However is there more to what is going on with Tai than meets the eye. I believe I have uncovered a major secret related to Tai's sleepwalking.

Girl this analysis & theory are insightful & on point. I believe we saw early indications of Tai's DDI during the game before the crash when she broke her teammates leg. That action was overly aggressive and Tia seemed to distance herself from the action. The DDI hadn't really blossomed until much later though. Thx again for another insightful video😊

I didn’t put this together so thank u! Everything and everyone u see in a scene is purposefully put there… down to a piece of trash on the ground… so there has to be a reason for them to make a scene with Tai breaking the girls leg… it’s like in season 1 episode 1 when Nat was stoned and tripping and saw misty standing across from the fire with Kevyn and then in the season finally of season 2 both Nat and Kevyn die bc of Misty

I like the idea of them going back to the woods cos like what are these adults going to do now that all the illegal stuff seems to be taken care of. I hope to see more look into the supernatural stuff moving forward bc I don’t have it in me for 3 seasons full of more angsty cannabalistic teens

man with no eyes cant be her in her other state, as when van follows her as her other self, she says she is following the man with no eyes

When they say children they mean actual children particularly between the ages of 1-4. If they go down this route it’s going to be tricky to be respectful to those with DID and not upset the mental health community as there’s already a stigma of persons with DID being scary or aggressive. Many shows and movies have used this as a plot and it was usually heavily scrutinized

Teens are actually (surprisingly) NOT “still children”, when it comes to the context of developing most personality disorders and other life-long disorders /… it’s not impossible of course (and certainly not when it comes to fiction), BUT generally this kind of thing stems from trauma in earlier childhood, as our personality is forming up to around age nine(apx). It’s not very likely someone would develop an identity disorder as late as in their teen years, BUT again it’s not impossible - (and we did see Tai meeting the man w no eyes at a young age surrounding her grandmother’s death). Just some food for thought :)

DID is developed before the age of ten, and Taissa is not shown to have experienced repeated trauma during childhood. Plus, her only having one alter that happens to be evil would be a terrible decision, as it’s a cliché often found in movies but absolutely not how it actually works. Systems often have a “persecutor” but that alter is usually only aggressive towards the person themself. This creates stigma around people with DID because it makes them seem dangerous, when they’re not. Also, sleeping is not really a trigger, so that would be weird. DID might totally be what they’re going for in the show, but that would be terribly executed and quite hurtful to the community.

Tawny Cypress has said in an interview that she doesn’t think Tai has DID and she isn’t playing the character that way.

I like you ideas and I kind of agree with all your theories (maybe not the one with Lottie, I do think she is acting independently, or at least more so than Tai), but with this kind of show, everything might be flipped over into something completely unexpected. But I do agree with there being a few gods or evil entities. My own theory is that by worshipping the evil spirit or gods, the girls are actually killing people or animals. Every time they make a blood sacrifice, something dies, either a friend or an animal (like the birds and bear). It saves them by making a sacrifice. btw, Judaism's symbol is actually the Menorah (or the less known Lion of Judah), the Star of David was added much later and was not originally Jewish.

I have to disagree with u on the man with no eyes… he appears first when Ti’s grandmother was dying and he appears to take her soul and she was screaming don’t let him get me….. so that man is somehow tied to her!

I don’t think it’s DID, just because I don’t see the show going down that road as showing someone’s alter as being violent has very negative connotations but I do think it’s possible she goes into fugue states where she is controlled by the man with no eyes, as for sprits or gods of the wilderness I think there is: The man with no eyes, The Wilderness (and it’s human counter part/priest(ess)? the antler queen), The Man in the Cabin (idk if he’s a god but he is at least a spirit of some sort as with Jackie’s vision before death), and Javi’s friend. And then maybe Laura Lee has become a similar figure/spirit like the man in the cabin due to her appearing to Lottie and such.
