Thank you so much, I've had that nagging pain for 7 years, pullups killed me. I used a massage gun, followed your line and used animal flex supplement. It's done wonders for me.

I have pain in the origin, I guess the deltoid, and when I press on I feel my thumb, and I have a bit of pain of my thumb when I flex it.

I developed a lot of pain there very suddenly. Lots of pain when doing a hammer curl style movement. Oddly, pretty much none when I do a pull up. There is also pain when I lift a weight, like a front raise, with the elbow bent a bit. Is it still likely the brachioradialis? I think I might have hurt a tendon and maybe having some tennis elbow, but the pain is deep into the upper forearm as well. I'm going to maybe book a massage soon.

Thanks for the great video. Is it possible that the etiology of the pain is due to something other than lactic acid buildup, like microtears of the muscle? I only ask because I feel the pain exactly in that spot when I massage it, even when I'm not lifting. Secondly, would you recommend avoiding hammer curls altogether until this pain is gone? Thanks.

It could be both Vara. I personally don't see value in hammer curls. Large compound movements like pullups have far greater benefits. Isolation hammer curls overwork the brachioradialis and spare the larger flexors. Hope you feel better!

Mine has failed since last march 2023. So about 9 moths. I can barely lift 5 pounds in hammer curl form. Does this ever heal? Can't do curls or pullups but no issue with other lifts.

Dude. I injured mine about 13 months ago. it was excruciating to hold a toothbrush for a month. Couldnt even open my cars trunk. Its gotten better but not great I wore a brace (still Do) Curls I finally got back to 30 lbs, but I don't think ill ever be able to do more. Hell I cant even flex my bicep with that muscle and tendon activating and hurting...maybe its ruptured...i dunno. It sucks. Good luck!

Mine has kept me from doing more then one damn pull up. It's extremely frustrating. Bench is fine, skullcrushers fine....curls, and pull-ups? Not so fine.

Watch the other video if his describing this syndrome. Radial tunnel syndrome. It literally cured me after 2 months and a half of therapies with marginal results
