In gymnastics you always look at the floor/your hands too. There are cases where looking ventrally actually helps with balance at the bars for example.

I never heard that one before. I naturally find it way harder to look 'back'.😮

He could teach a lot of people to do special things in gymnastics. He is really good while he does his daily training. It is difficult to hold a handstand like that. A lot of power and he can explain several tasks to people.

I think the muth about looking down comes from the fact that when you look forward your back doesn’t arch as easily

I tell beginners to look at the floor like that because oftentimes they bend their arms. If they look at the floor they’re more inclined not to do a face plant!

I agree with this. Looking down is usually paried with cobra back bent, so people assume looking down causes it, they dont have to be paired, which he clearly shows here, but i personally like to look backwards to maximize my balance and strength in all aspects, i want to be able to have balance and control everywhere, legs open, closed, down, split, 1 arm, other arm, head back, head up, the more rounded the better it becomes in all aspects, then transitioning between all those areas smoothly

@Noemiorainbow2 жыл бұрын
Looking at your hands won’t help. You should practice feeling your hands, no I mean every single finger (!), on the ground by doing supported handstand or doing push-ups on an uneven ground.

Стойка на руках подходит не для всех, даже для некоторых молодых она может быть опасна, так как эластичность сосудов у всех разная. Не рискуйте, особенно если вы новичок
