Not sure if I my wife and I fit your demographic but it is possible to to be married and not cheat on your wife. 40 years of marriage, up,s and downs and even being $420,000.00 in debt which left us $93.00 in the bank. So why would I want to cheat on my wife when i took vows that I would honor her? What we must remember is the price for sin is heavy, very heavy. I’m so sorry that this young brother couldn’t keep the vow of his marriage however Gods grace is sufficient. There is no woman walking on the planet that is worth my soul. The $420k debt? Is gone paid in full And through all of that Gods grace kept us

You are a breath of fresh air and you speak with clarity about honoring God. Sad to say a lot of men don't honor God this way. They're bonded in perversion and carnal minded . Getting married is a sacred act of two people taking vows and going before God asking him to bless the marriage. Unfortunately most people leave God out after they get married and that is why marriage doesn't work. God bless you for honoring your vows and staying the course!🙏❤️

At my highest weight I was 330lbs and during this never heard one hint of sarcasm now that im down to 207lbs she still is the same. Love ❤️ her so very much

@@beverleyreid7572Don't settle...? Wow that's what you gathered from this meaningful conversation? Men are who we are. At the end of the day, no one cares what other people think. Being single and lonely isn't cool. I'm not saying to be in a dysfunctional relationship. I am saying cheating isn't the reason most people get divorced. Work on the other issues and cheating probably won't happen. Cheating is a symptom, not the disease.

@evedelgado2345 You said the key thing that hit the nail and that is "they hate on our peace. " This is so true because most people are so used to drama. I'm in my late 40s and ended up in a toxic situation with a man. Now I cry at night missing the person I was for so many years. Now I have to do double praying as I trust God to continue to heal and restore me. It's not worth it to live in dysfunction just to have someone. Stay in that peaceful place and don't let anyone shame you.

His message on taking accountability rings so true. My ex husband cheated on me in the first year of marriage and my intuition told me. He never admitted it until 10+ years later in marriage counseling when he was trying to manipulate his way out of admitting his present cheating. It hurt me so bad that he was so conniving to admit it to a third party instead of me, solely to get out of being open & honest to address things head on. I knew enough then to decide that was the nail in the coffin for me. I left the marriage and never looked back. Mistakes are mistakes, but accountability helps people own them. Poor behavior patterns go beyond mistakes. Some cheaters fall into the act from a desperate place. Others plan, lie, manipulate, gaslight, etc. to keep cheating as long as they think they can get away with it.

At 42::50 Ryan says he’s a firm believer that a good man can cheat. Look up the word cheat. There is no good in the definition of that word. It’s crazy to me that after ALL of these guests and lessons that this is still a belief. There’s a quote that states: When you know better, you do better. What you know, you are accountable for. You have to be VERY careful with your words and what you do to others because it will CERTAINLY come back to you. Those who love themselves and their mate are exclusive with their bodies. Sharing your body outside of your relationship AND standing by a person who does such dishonors you both. It’s a huge risk-health wise, mentally and spirituality. I wish people loved themselves more. We have to do better.

This man’s story is just like mine smh, men are not thought to have self worth so we look at sex totally different than how women do. Now the journey to becoming that man that understands what it mean to have self worth and to stop sleeping with a bunch of girls is hard work within it self, just looking at girl alone is like second nature to us , growing up as a West Indian man i saw men get praised for sleeping with girls and if you don’t you are called names for it, so now as a grown man it’s hard to break those bad habits that you thought was cool. I am now on this crazy journey that will most likely make me loose friends and that’s ok, respect to this man for sharing his secrets with everyone to indulge in, what he have done is hard and should 🐝 respected.

I’m very much so like his wife. I wasn’t being fulfilled, appreciated, helped with the kids, prioritized so his sexual fulfillment wasn’t my main concern. The whole painful part in watching this is he’s grown and learned a lot but how much pain has to be inflicted to get the man that he is now. I wanna be loved right the first time.

And stressful. Men always act like it's a natural thing yet that man in southern CA just shot up a bar a couple months ago where his wife worked cuz he got cheated on. It hurts. It's not normal or okay for either sex. Even logically it makes no sense to put yourself and your partner at risk of diseases and such. Monogamy is healthy but it requires us to not be lazy and care for each other's needs.

This is truly an epidemic that’s rarely spoken of, and the danger here is that drained mothers can sometimes lack the strength (and/or the skills) to truly nurture their children… and kids learn their base behaviors and priorities at young ages from their parents. Mothers are usually the primary role models of intimacy, and creating nurturing environments for children. We talk a lot about daddy issues, but don’t talk enough about “mommy issues” that exist in our community, due to the lack of emotional intimacy that is very prevalent and emotionally unavailable men are often a byproduct of emotionally unavailable/drained mothers.

It is not if you marry your best friend…be equally yoked. Sometimes women want to do every thing for everyone and I blame society for that. We are only now learning to be soft, vulnerable and allowing ourselves to be tired. Having that conversation BEFORE marriage is very important - what are your expectations, what do you want out of this union…honest conversations that are ONGOING…because life happens sometimes. My husband and I live off the following: When I am weak he is strong, where he is weak I am strong, where we both are weak, we will outsource (get help)- it’s worked perfectly for us and we both are very happy and constantly check in with each other

Also, cheating is very painful on both parties, but recovery is possible "when" both partners are willing to do whatever necessary. Marriage is for mature, selfless people.. It requires renewing of mindset and ideas about what marriage should look like. There is always communication , sometimes in a whisper before a scream. We must stay checked into our mates and their needs and communicate what is needed as marriages evolve because leveryone changes!

Another one…….Laterras is so transparent and I love it. Most people lie to themselves so it’s hard to hear truth. I would love to have a man who was this transparent but is willing to accept my transparency . However, when a woman is this transparent it’s hard for most men to accept it. This was a great episode, you guys asked him so great questions. Bring him back and I pray for your podcast as well🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I came accross this by accident and totally enjoyed listening to you gentlemen. I'm always interested in learning how men think, feel, and interpret things. Because if I'm lucky enough to find that love again in my life I want to be everything he needs. Cause I know pouring into that is the same as investing into myself as well. So thank you for the great information.

I'm so glad you guys collaborated. I have recommended both channels because there's so many bad things said about Black, male podcast hosts. People don't even realize there's great ones you can actually learn from. DFW is one of the main reasons I attracted the relationship I'm in now versus what I was in last year. It was hard going from an 8 year relationship, to dating an undercover F-boy for three months, to now dating an absolute sweetheart at 32. There are great men out here and thankfully they have you guys to watch and learn from.

Love his honesty and transparency!!! Because a lot of men are out here cheating! Not all men but more than most! It’s awesome that a man, a brother is starting this conversation and talking from a man’s point of view and perspective! Not to mention and man of God! This was awesome!!! I pray that men can hear and receive from this brother!

This is so great! Especially in light of how men podcast / talk shows degrade women. This was a genuine and honest conversation. I especially appreciated it when he brought to light the hypocrisy and double standard in the "body count" issue. Our bodies are temples, and it's both men and women's responsibility to honor themselves.
