If they thought the first Jurassic world trailer was bad I can’t even imagine what they think of the horrible trailer for the second one where they take the classic line “life finds a way” and bastardize it by having Jeff Goldblum say it again like a fucking catchphrase and then put it on the screen in text during the trailer

English comedians and TV personalities will always put a proper discussion first over a punchline or setup whereas Americans usually will go for the quickest joke they can and will steer any topic immediately to that side of it. I love both American and British TV, but as I watch more and more the growing differences between the two cultures as the medium matures gets to be obvious. For example: What happened to the American panel show? I'm talking outside judge/talent shows. To have those shows requires a bit of serious discussion and knowledge (or at least scripted at properly rehearsed) in a way I feel cannot be delivered by most American personalities and that isn't saying we aren't intelligent. PS I love Jeff
@KidsWithGuns1992
@KidsWithGuns1992 5 жыл бұрын
UnDEADBishop138 English humour is usually ironic and less of a formal punchline but funny about the situational circumstances , it’s more nuanced. American humour is all about the punchline and coming up with it quickly, it’s more hard and fast and full on direct about the subject matter. Seems to be more a play on words or something. I prefer English, but different strokes depending on the comedian. I find Joe Rohan hilarious and his style is very quick and punchy, just like I like Robin Williams who is all about that

My grandpa came here from Ireland when he was 18 so I always have a positive bias for people from Ireland... thus I have a huge crush on Saoirse Ronan because if he were still alive she’d be the ideal girl for me to bring home. If I were to walk thru his door with her I’d immediately win the title of favorite grandchild (I already was but that would make it undisputed)
