man I havent seen never dull since I was in the navy. I just checked on Amazon, never done that for some reason, 12 bucks for a can. We used it to polish brass everything.

I just bought the SAS 12 gauge and put about 100 rounds of bird shot and about 10 rounds of buckshot. I’m hoping that it’ll wear it in it cycled the buckshot fine but the birdshot is still iffy.

I am OCD about my firearms. I may not clean them the day I use them. But they are cleaned after every time they are fired. We have a two-week firearm deer season. I will clean them right after the season ends very well. Every time they are handled, I will wipe them down quickly with a silicone cloth.

A lot of people have problems with the front wood grip cracking on the 12 gauges you hear all kinds of stories on this I guess they redesign the gun upfront couple times

The wood is super thin, not sure why they thought that was a good idea

I think the problem isn't so much how tight you get it but how carefully you make sure that the aft end is aligned & flat against the backing before you tighten it up.

Never Dull is a metal cleaner , usually for brass ,,,, we (i) used it in the service back in the early 80's for polishing belt buckles , etc....

Nevr Dull is just cotton dampened with mineral spirits. Just use odorless spirits and an old rag torn into pieces to do the same thing for a lot less cost. Nevr Dull is $10 per 5 oz can. Mineral Spirits $8.50 per 32 oz can.

All of my bore sneks are stamped in the brass what caliber/gauge they are. It’s part of the crimp between the 550 and the snek part.

Thanks for letting me know. I will take a close look and see if mine are stamped as that would be very convenient

Has anyone had a hard time getting the trigger group back in like that pin that holds it in won’t go in because the holes won’t line up?

I agree. It is a challenge to keep something that long in the frame at all times when it is zoomed in enough to actually see it well, so there is a trade off but I tried to show the gist of what you can expect

I have the same problem on 20gauge platform. If you find out I would like to know. Actually they will shoot out the tube if I don't press that button while loading shells.

Having clean a friend's Hatfield sas putting that bolt assembly back and you fail to show how. This is aggravating to say the least, please show how rather than do it out of camera view and go from there.
@neuromanglers
@neuromanglers 2 жыл бұрын
I do not recall it being a problem, except that you have to hold the gun plumb and let gravity guide the part into position. That is why it when off camera at that moment
