Neil Melanson, The Ground Marshal, explores in this episode , countering the frame by utilizing misdirection. He covers a technique called ‘belly down float’ where he leverage the misdirection he creates in order to finish the attack.
Coach Neil also covers some important topics when it comes to the ground game such as the management of space between, you and your opponent, and, simple but smart, tricks to keep control when executing these kinds of techniques.

At the end, he shows a couple variations that are quite mean - you should check it out.
Now, go try this technique, and let us know how it goes down for you.
The greats never stop learning.

Thank you sor for all that you do for the grappling community. A lot of your catch wrestling, wrestling and Jiu-jitsu in no gi has increased my game tremendously. I purchased your master triangle series book to support you and the book is a goldmine. Mahalo nut loa.

Appreciate the Marshal's advice on being mindful of separating your partner's AC joint... "It's not too painful to recover from... as long as you don't need surgery". Great videos.

Nice Neil. I was watching a video about catching this as your partner tries to frame across your throat but I don't think you would catch a good guy so easily without a better set up like you show. As you say, simple effective stuff gets forgotten and overlooked when people get attracted to more "impressive" looking techniques. I roll in a gi but I find that guys with a wrestling background give me trouble because they move at a faster pace, react more quickly than the rest of us or else make things happen the way you are showing here. I'll be trying this tonight if I get to the right spot.
