When I was 18 I disappeared and avoided my responsibilities to hang out with a “guy friend” of mine who was older. I changed myself for him. Because he was grooming and abusing me. I am so lucky the guy ended up just stalking me for 7 years. Not murdering me. If a young girl leaves her normal life and starts hanging out with some man, he’s doing something bad to her, at the very least grooming, at the worst, planning some real psycho stuff like this. Someone who loves you accepts you as you are and respects the relationships and commitments you already have.

Be aware of older men going for such younger women PERIOD!! There’s a reason they want someone so young and it’s never good. Don’t fall for the “you’re just so mature for your age” or “you have an ‘old soul’” bs lines, that’s grooming. ❤️ I’m sorry u had to learn this the hard way, 7 years of stalking?! That’s CRAZY!! No one should have to go thru that. And while yes you are lucky to be alive, that doesn’t make your experience any less traumatic & I hope you’re healing from it and taking care of yourself these days!

I’m glad you’re okay ❤ I wish one of my friends could see this. She’s in her early twenties and this 45-50 year old man is “friends” with her. She claims he’s not creepy but they hang out alone all the time and he has a wife? It’s strange to me.

To be fair the grandson was wearing a face mask of the sons face. Yes in hindsight it would look different but even if your vision wasn't horrible I could see how the grandpa wouldn't notice cause it's still an embodiment of his sons face plus the grandson tried to make it look more like the dad according to the story

That must have been a very well made mask then. My grandpa had a 70% sight loss but he could still tell the family members apart. He did not drive though. I don't want to argue, just can't wrap my head around this. Just imagine sitting at the table with your family member and not realize they are wearing a mask made out of another human's face?? Sooo unrealistic.

I remember hearing about this case; I was MORTIFIED. I immediately envisioned how stunned and afraid the victim was the moment the switch flipped. Women NEED to take at least 2 years of self defense classes. First year teaches them where to hit someone to stun them or take them down, how break free from choke holds or whatever, and the second year just sharpens our awareness, surroundings and trains us to do self defense moves like it's second nature. I'm not saying this is the cure all to women being victims, but I'm sure the female victim rate would plummet significantly.

I would appreciate if they taught self defence classes in schools for everyone, everyone should have a base understanding of how to defend themselves, but knowing how to defend yourself doesn’t guarantee you won’t become a victim. When I studied martial arts they taught defence, and how it was against their values to instigate a fight, but to help you defend yourself against somebody else, it was mostly kids and it was really useful, I was also a kid at the time I did it with my dad. I know how to defend myself, but I still have a fear of being assaulted-it can really happen to anyone wether you’re on guard or not, I think self defence classes are important but so are mental health services. A lot of kids start without any chance due to their family background and become assaulters. There really is a cycle of abuse that can easily be continued. Kids who bully are usually bullied themselves, typically in the home. Having mental health services to help kids when they start having violent tendencies would help. However, all these preventative things could lower crime rates but it will never eliminate it. You could do everything right and still be a victim.

This wasn’t a flip of a switch, he was ALWAYS like this. He was clocked by friends, family, neighbors and colleagues who knew he had some issue… This girl seemed like she knew the type of guy he was and his preference for violence and torture was probably something she wanted to be around ( he was VERY open about his views on women and his fascination with dissection/ cadaver mutilation). It seems like she had a similar mentality with the couple who were eaten by grizzly bears because they lived amongst them for years… At the end of the day you can give them all the love and attention you want but a wild animal is a wild animal…

@@EChique Why do you think she knew about his love for violence and torture, and was cool with it? He could've kept that part of him hidden from her specifically to build up trust. That seems like a bit of an assumption as it wasn't mentioned in the video and you said "seemed", also sounds like a bit of victim blaming. Unless there are sources that said she was also into that stuff.

When I was 20 years old I worked at a jewelry store, it was very quite and small and barely anyone ever walked in. I would usually work alone, with the exception on the weekends. One day a man came into the store about 40-45 years old, and started talking to me. I don't remember how we got to the topic but he asked me to teach him how to be a woman. I was very surprised as he was a middle aged Indian man, who worked as an insurance inspector for car accidents. Not to mention I'm not a very feminine woman. We started talking about this and he mentioned he loved woman so much to the point he wanted to be one. He wasn't gay he was straight and quite obsessed with his wife actually, yes he had a wife and kids. He told me that his wife didn't want to sleep with him and he sometimes thought about putting something in her drink to make her sleep. So im 20 years old, in a store with no camera or security system, on a street that isn't very busy and barely any people ever walk in with a man who told me he is obsessed with woman, thinks I am a beautiful woman, and he wants to drug his own wife. Out of fear I started talking to him about how its okay and its normal and he should do what makes him happy and he's not alone and sure Ill teach him but not now because I'm working and someone was about to come in for their shift and he should NOT drug his wife because he can get in a lot of trouble and blah blah blah. So he wanted me to give him my number so we can keep talking about this and I said no because your wife what about you give me your email. He said okay and left. I went on google, found a group online of men who like to dress as woman and provided them his email so they can contact him and he could be happy. I don't know what ever happened to him after that, or his wife, or anything but I always think about how that could have been a very different situation. But who knows, maybe he was really just opening up to me and maybe I actually helped him.

I've watched a lot of true crime over the years. This is up there with the most disturbing. I feel sick to my stomach.

Darn, he got 20 years of freedom before being caught. Also, the grandfather was lucky his grandson wasn't in the basement when he went down there. Don't understand how he thought that was really his son while his grandson was wearing his father's face.

He had very bad vision and his grandson was wearing a balaclava so he was hiding more of his (father's) face.

There is no way that you could cut off someone's face and put it over your own and make it look like a human, let alone your son. Also... its spur of the moment not spare of the moment

I wonder what the grandson thought when he dropped off the evidence, thinking haha, I'm so clever, then gets arrested immediately.

Thank you for covering this case! Not many people with platforms like yours cover cases from countries other than their own, I would recommend for you to learn how to pronounce the names properly next time when you do a video like this, (I know polish is a hard language with hard pronunciation) but it makes videos and information just that bit more compelling. I love your videos! ❤

I’m polish but I never heard about this until like a year ago or something like that. It possibly because I was only 8 when it happened

You should cover the case of the real life Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs! Not a single other true crime YTer has covered it. His names Gary Heidnik. RIP Katarzyna 💙
