it's especially weird since this wasn't the father telling one of his made-up stories, but the officers, investigators, and medical examineers failing to come to the logical conclusion that this was murder and not a wildlife attack. And even if they dismissed the garbage bag, the wounds inflicted by humans are entirely different from any animal. @@pixiestardust69

It’s crazy that he killed his own son both out of rage, embarrassment and to cover this up, but that was actually what led to the whole world seeing those photos of him. If he had just told his son that he had issues and was a degenerate, maybe his son would have never spoken to him again but these photos likely would have never surfaced. Kids often don’t necessarily want everyone knowing this kind of thing about their parents either. He was just a child and what he saw probably deeply traumatized him. I can’t imagine many things more traumatic than seeing your father in those sorts of situations. Poor kid. I’m surprised the wife wasn’t privy to his habits.

i agree to an extent, but police do not always take younger people seriously. also, it’s clear that mark found it very easy to deny deny deny. he would probably somehow twist dylan’s words and make it seem like he’s lying. i agree, it just can be difficult to get people to believe you

You would think if a kid wanted nothing to do with a parent the court wouldn't force them to visit or at least try to find out why before ordering them to do it. Thirteen years old is old enough to make that decision.

I agree. HOWEVER...I have had this problem with my own kids. You have to prove without a shadow of a doubt that your kids do not want to be with the other parent. My kids don't want to go with their father, but they still have to because their father has gaslighted the court into believing he is a good father. My kids HATE their father but the court won't do anything if they can't prove the other parent isn't a totally shitty parent. The kids would have to explain to the court why, IN DETAIL they don't want to be with their parent and even then the court might decide the kids need both parents in their life. I know. I've lived it. 😡

I can understand that, because on the other side, the parent in the custody can easily gaslight the kid, that the other parent is evil. And teens are quite susceptible I can imagine. The other parent most probably isn't the greatest one, but not evil, and he is going to lose the kid completely, even though they could form a healthy relationship when the kid becomes an adult

Because by then the child is old enough to decide for themselves. I know this because my sisters kids did this and I know other people who's children did the same, in Chicago, Florida, Atlanta I think its nation wide

My uncle is a lawyer, and he told me that sometimes lawyers don't get to choose their cases. When they are assigned cases, it's because the client reaches specific criteria. Most of the time, lawyers never take cases that they know they can't win, and even if they know that their client is guilty, their responsibility as lawyers is to interpret, study, and use the paperwork and evidence of the law/court to win their case. It is their job to use and manipulate the words of the law to get the job done, whether they believe that their client committed the crime or not.

Thank the judge who forced Dylan to visit his father. Dylan did not want to go, he was afraid. Why did the judge force him to go? Will the judge suffer any consequences for his outrageous decision? No. "Oh well, can't win them all, my bad" This isn't right, Dylan was old enough to decide. Judge didn't listen.

Even if Mark had not committed such horrible acts, he didn't do much to find out what happened to his son. He seemed to avoid and escape the entire situation, while the mom fought like a brave and bold warrior. My heart is broken imagining what happened to that poor boy. Rest in peace, Dylan. 😢💔🌹

Thank you for covering these stories and giving focus to the victims; the way you give detail allows us viewers to properly sympathize and empathize rather then being passive observers. I think it's important especially in this day and age where we are surrounded by these types of stories to the point we are often desensitized to these horrible occurrences to allow ourselves a moment to acknowledge these victims as people. Not just characters but actually human beings. But I digress thanks for another amazing video ❤... Of all the problems in the world child abuse makes me the most emotional. Children are so innocent , they deserve to grow up happy and there is nothing in place to protect them. So many children have been robbed of their innocence. Childhood trauma is the reason why so many adults are battling mental health issues.

I’m gonna throw a curveball & say that, while I do believe Mark killed Dylan, I don’t think it was over the photos. I think it was more a family annihilation tactic where he was thinking “if I can’t have Dylan, then neither can Elaine.” If he was going to kill Dylan over the photos, he would’ve done it when he first found out that Dylan had discovered them.

I agree. I usually just listen while I am doing other things so I don't always see what's on the screen. I looked up at the wrong time. She said they were blurred, but not enough, in my opinion. You could still see very clearly what it was. Would have appreciated a warning or for the pictures not to have been shown at all.

She's too lazy. She never puts trigger warnings in her videos and in this video she is also using clips of a man on tiktok claiming its Dylans father when it's not, she's associating innocent people to crimes that they have no connection with. As a true crime content creator She's probably one of the worst ones on here. She's lazy, she doesn't correct herself if she gets names mixed up, she associates innocent people to horrific crimes, she doesn't blur or censor photos or give trigger warnings. Bur you can bet your sweet cash that if she has a sponsor she makes sure to edited that bit in and makes sure she gets everything right on that script.
