Something to add to the final discussion is that you can't actually convince yourself to trust anything or anyone, because trust and logic happen if different parts of the brain. So, people struggle with that answer because it is the wrong question.

@Hesus well if u watched enough of albert with lily, u cud easily tell albert didnt feel the same way, and if he wer to be a gentlemen there, he would have told her the truth and moved on long ago. Just watching the way michael acts towards her, he has gentleman mannerisms. I like the detail on how during Lily's last interview with the Doc, when she was still going through the grieving process of things, it was a bit dark in her room. Now here, when things have started looking up, when she won Twitch rivals, when she got together with Michael... her room is now bright. I know it's most likely not intentional, but if that isn't a symbolic sign for healing and progress, I don't know what is.

If you also look at the lighting, it's a perfect contrast because the first stream had really low lighting, but this one has much better lighting and a brighter atmosphere.

same, idk why seeing them so happy brings me so much peace. i was sick for two weeks straight and felt absolutely miserable, luckily it was around the time when they announced their relationship. it sounds stupid, but they really helped me get through those terrible days by just being them.

They feed off each other's energy and they seem to spend every spare moment together, even before developing feelings for each other. I just hope they both continue this way

She doesn't challenge his statements or act defensive, so he doesn't need to self-edit his wording of his thoughts to think about how to make her not outright reject them. Instead he can keep his thoughts more direct and free flowing for her, which probably puts you in a good mood. Anyone who loves their craft will radiate happiness when they're allowed to do it in the way that works best for them without scrutiny. Plus she is clearly appreciative and empathic which makes her even easier to empathize with and enjoy her success as she gets help.

A thought. Accepting how you are is to stop fighting reality. Denying that you have tendencies (being emotional, angry, whatever) and emotions leads to an internal struggle. When you accept where you are - not only do you stop fighting "reality" (which you will always lose) - you can see yourself with eyes unclouded. You get to relate to yourself and your experiences from a perspective free of judgement and beliefs. This doesn't mean you can't or won't change. It means you start from where you are.. rather than from a position of internal struggle.

@@DestinyAwaitsChannel that's alright, it's just that in my experience; working on my flaws and doing self improvement really improved my life on a day to day basis. Like for example I'm still an introvert but i have less anxiety when talking to people now. Learning how to communicate properly is a huge deal for me and I became less reliant on using passive agression and became more open on telling what I feel towards certain situations. It's not perfect, but the improvement has huge benefits for my life.

I have viewed most of these interviews, and they're absolutely AMAZING and incredibly insigtful. I took home at least one thing from each episode. And even though this one stands out as a more wholesome relaxed kinda video, that doesn't dive as deep into very serious topics, this one did the most for me. Even though the other ones were very important, and some of them discussed situations which I can relate to, I think this discussion will make a ton of difference in my daily life. For sure something I will not only look back to, but also rewatch in the future. Sometimes it's good to take a step back and visit the topics surrounding happiness, apart from the still very important, yet *heavier* areas, like mental illness. Thank you Dr. kegel exercise and Lily for a more than stimulating experience!

I relate to Lily a lot especially the part about being an emotional sponge and I think I've only recently started to accept that about myself. I also find myself trying to hold on to happiness too much and accepting that happiness and adversity are both temporary has really helped my mental health! The talks with LilyPichu have resonated so much with me. Thanks for two wonderful, helpful conversations. It was so nice to see Lily's growth as well. I went to twitch to follow her and am looking forward to watching her stream, because it is very true that she has a genuine personality that I find so wholesome and good. The part about Dosha was super interesting. The description of Lily's Dosha is exactly what I feel like, and how I learn/remember/deal with stress. The fire element truly explains my boyfriend's personality. He has a lot of road rage, and any time he has a bad day at work, he's angry and irritable and cursing everyone. As someone who's very withdrawn and quiet when upset, it's sometimes scary to see, but I know he's just upset and venting in his own way. Hearing about Dosha has helped me understand that better.

Not sure if you're still with the boyfriend mentioned in your comment but I can resonate with you since I'm also a Kapha (according to this video). I dated someone with the fire element once that expressed his stress the exact way you described your boyfriend. I can understand how difficult and draining it is, especially when they're that way. Mine felt like a mismatch in energies most of the time and I blamed myself a lot in that relationship for not being able to be more vocal and help them relieve their stress. Know that it isn't your fault. That relationship didn't work out for me but hopefully yours has a better outcome (if that's what you want out of the relationship with the mentioned boyfriend)

Within the first 10 mins I was so close to crying and was just laughing to myself, I have the same exact feeling as Lily, i'm a sponge and I'm pretty sensitive and emotional and get very easily upset, when she said that she used to see it as a weakness, I see it as a weakness and I try to change myself to stop being so sensitive because I'm a guy. But hearing that I can just accept that has literally brought me to tears. Lily is amazing and thank you Dr. K for creating a platform for people to share these things, I can't be thankful enough.

I've watched a couple of these sessions with different people now and it's really made me want to talk to someone as amazing as Dr. K in order to help myself function better. I feel like I have so many behaviors that are hurting myself and I think that if I understood myself better maybe I could come to grips with them and improve my life. Just watching these and applying them to some degree to my own life helps might be helping a little bit too though fortunately since I'm not sure that I can commit to starting to see a therapist right now.
